Riya reached home.Firstly changed into her night dress and then began to think over what had just happened.She was totally confused.😕
She laid down on her bed and began to think. In such a situation also, she was not serious. She joked on her own self
" Riya, dimag par itna zor to tune board k exams mein bhi nahi dala. Aur dalkar bhi kya fayda, milega kya

Her chain of awesumly weird thoughts was broken by the beep of her cell phone. It was the call from her mother, she talked to each and everyone out of her so called "SUPER-8" but did not inform them about anything.She then tried to sleep when her phone rang again, this time it was Rathod. She immediately picked up the call and said
Riya: Haan bhai ,bolo, haal-chaal theek- thaak?
Rathod:Haan Riya sab theek thaak hai. Maine to bas ye batane k liye call kiya ki tum kal se ETF join nahi kar rahi ho.
Riya: What???????? Aap mera ullu paka rahe the??
Rathod laughed and replied😆
"Nahi baba main kuch nahi pakaraha hoon. Actually, baat ye hai k Commissioner Sir ne mujhe call kar k kaha ki kal vo tumse milna chahte hain aur tumhe tumhare portfolio assign karna chahte hain. Aur vaise bhi kal sunday hai, koi official kaam to kal hoga nahi, isiliye pehle kal tum sir se milogi aur phir parso, u will join ETF. Am I loud n clear????
Riya: Bhai vo sab to mujhe samajh aa gaya par ek baat ka khayal rahe...
There was a long pause and Rathod was bound to ask "KYA"??
Riya: Bhai abhi maine ETF join kiya nahi hai isliye mujhpe ye BOSSGIRI abhi nahi chalegi... Samjhe ya...
😆Rathod suddenly laughed and murmured " Tum aur wo waise to 2 opposite poles ho, par abhi ...
A confused Riya asked,😕
"Main aur vo...vo kaun ...opposite poles...vo aur main...abhi ...kya...vo kaun...?????????
Rathod, taking opportunity of all the mischief Riya had done,said
"RIYA GOODNIGHT "
Riya: Bhai batao na...
Rathod: Pehle ETF mein to aao, sab samajh jaogi...
An inquisite Riya said in a voice such that of a baby
"BHAI...chalo goodnight...
She slept with her inner soul dying to know the truth but soon her sleep overtook her thoughts...
The doorbell has been ringing for the past ten minutes and Riya is not opening the door of her house. Those who were ringing the bell simultaneously were- a worried elder brother and angry as well, Rathod, a worried Sonali and an irritated Pihu.
Today was Sunday. Sonali and Pihu had decided to spend the most enjoyable and "mast'' (as Riya called it) day with their new life...
But Riya was not opening the door . Just then Riya's landlady walked in and smiled😊,
"O! to Riyu abhi tak so rahi hai..."
Her words were enough for Rathod and Sonali to understand Riya's importance in her life as well.
She brought an alternative pair of keys and while opening the door, narrated what Riya had said to her the first day to her, when they talked about the rent of the apartment and the keys.
"Chachi, she calls me 'chachi' as she does not have any.
Chachi ye keys aap apne pas rakhna. Us din kaam aayengi jis din main KUMBHAKARN types neend so rahi hongi, aur koi mere ghar ki bell bajate-bajate paagal ho gaya hoga, aur vo saath mein aapke ghar ki deewar par apna head bhi baja raha hoga"
She opened the door and after welcoming them in, went off. Rathod sat in Riya's perfect drawing room with not even a peck of dust while Pihu, Sonali had entered her bedroom to wake her up.
Riya woke up with a jerk as Pihu placed a soft kiss on her cheek.
She kissed Pihu, hugged Sonali and then, came out and hugged Rathod. Rathod's anger disappeared but he sarcastically made a remark,
"Kal se ETF ki hone wali member, aise to aap ETF office mein soti hi reh jayengi, aur terrorist ETF office uda bhi denge "😉
Riya, flashing her dimpled smile said,
"Aap to mujhe bacha hi loge naa..."
All burst out laughing. Riya freshened, at the same time playing with Pihu. Sonali cooked breakfast for her. She sat on the couch enjoying her aaloo ka parantha with Pihu in her lap.All of a sudden Sonali asked,
"Riya tum chai logi?"
Riya: Bhabhi bilkul nahi. Na to mujhe chai pasand hai aur na to chai peene waale log...🥱Aap baitho yaar itni tension kyon le rahi ho?
Rathod smiled listening to what Riya had just said, "NA CHAI PEENE WALE LOG". He thought about what would happen whe Arjun and Riya would face each other. It would not be less than any encounter. Suddenly Rathod's phone rang . It was Arjun who was calling and he went off. Riya got ready in some not so appropriate clothes.She wore a top and a capri. Sonali was about to make a remark but she thought if Riya would not like her interference.
But Riya was smart enough to understand and she said,
"Bhabhi, yaar mere paas appropriate kapde nahi hai. Abhi to kaam chala leti hoon, par sham ko shopping chalenge. Vaise bhi kal se to zarurat padegi hi. Aur ek baat, mujhe daantne mein ya kuch bhi bolne se pehle 2 baar sochne ki zarurat nahi hai...OK?
Mujhe pata tha ki aap kya bolne wali ho...main sabki dil ki baat janti hoon..."
They both bursted out laughing.Rathod returned after his call andwas abot to say something when Riya interrupted," Ye mat kehna ki aapke kisi khadoos colleague ne aapko call kar ke bulaya hai.
Rathod smiled remembering that it was Arjun who had calledand said," Haan ...mera matlab nahi...Mujhe jana padega,emergency hai. Ek retired police commissioner k beti kidnap ho gayi hai. Riya tum Commissioner Sir k office chale jaana main koshish karoonga unse tumhara intro jaldi karane ki. Bye."
And he rushed out.
Riya also went to the Commissioner's office.
The Commissioner was highly impressed by Riya, afterall she was class 10th CBSE Board topper, class 12th CBSE Board topper, throughout first, MA Honours and extremely good in na jaane kya kya. Her certificate file showed tha she was a perfect pack- good at sports, art, debate and innumerous other activities.
When Rathod reached, he saw
The commissioner patting Riya's back and remarking , "We need cool dudes like you in the department, right Riya...😃
This was enough for him to understand what was the matter. Riya was given her ID and her revolver. She happily went back home like a small kid, hopping, leaving behind a proud brother and an impressed senior.
The later part of the day was spent in shopping and enjoyment with Pihu and Sonali. At night , Riya slept early while Pihu and Sonali went back home.
They were surprised to find Arjun and Rathod sitting and having a serious discussion in the drawing room of Rathod's house. Pihu ran and sat on Arjun's lap as she shared a strong bond with him. They both played together. Sonali brought tea for Arjun and coffee for herself and Rathod. Seeing the cup of chai Rathod laughed and Sonali joined him too. Sonali remarked,
''Kal se kya hoga , SIR"
Arjun gave a confused look and they both stopped laughing. All the time Pihu talked about her PUCHCHI and Arjun was even more confused, but he did not cared. He just cared for one who had now left him all alone in this world.
Soon after, they all packed up. Arjun went back to his lonely world while the Rathod family to their bed.
All waited for the following day that would definitely change their world...
