Raksha Bandhan Special...

Note: I know today is not Raksha bandhan... I am making this post in advance... Tomorrow it is 'aane do'😉😳 & day-after-tom it is mango boy's birthday... The forum wld be so busy & members will hardly have a look upon raksha bandhan post... That's y😆

RAKSHA BANDHAN SPECIAL

Thanks to Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon for showing relationships beautifully...

I am the only child to my parents & I always miss having a brother...

I never knew the real meaning of Raksha Bandhan before seeing Arnav & Anjali's beautiful bonding...

I thought a sister ties Rakhi to her brother every year...

As I have seen in few movies, if you want to make a guy your brother, just tie him Rakhi...

No I was wrong... Rakhi is very special & sacred...

It is a sacred thread that binds a bro-sis relationship stronger...

It is a promise made by a brother to protect his sister forever...

To add to the beauty of the relationship, we have got a beautiful song for this bro-sis duo, with touching lyrics & amazing music... I get tears whenever I hear this song...

Not only onscreen as Arnav & Anjali, but also offscreen Barun & Daljeet shared the same beautiful relationship...

Thanks to the wonderful cast & wonderful show...

I am also a single issue. IPK taught me a lot about the bond between siblings .. be it sisters or sister-brother. Lovely post. 😊 I don't know if it were the same if Barun & Daljeet did not portray these roles .. I thank them for showcasing such wonderful bond.Edited by Omoraboti - 10 years ago

Even i don't have a brother , but a sister.

I only have a few cousin brothers whom i tie Rakhi every year..but earlier i used to do it as a duty and to get gifts from my bros 😆

But after watching IPK i understood the actual meaning and importance of Rakhi...and now i feel a different attachment towards my brothers.

The relationship between Anjali and Arnav was one of the most beautiful and highlighted aspect of IPKKND.

And the song Meri aakhon mein tu muskuraye' is simply beautiful ! I love it too.

I have tied rakhis to two of my brothers who are not blood-related... Still they consider me as their own sister & always protect me😃

I scold my mom for not having another baby😡😆
