Chennai Express is set to collect the highest distributor share ever and be the second film to go over the 100 crore share mark. Last year Ek That Tiger had a huge distributor share of around 107 crore and Chennai Express is sure to beat that and go past the 110 crore mark.
The film is holding strong in the second week and collections will go over 35 crore nett and the 98 crore distributor share of Three Idiots which was second to Ek Tha Tiger in terms of share has already been crossed by Chennai Express.
The record nett collections of Three Idiots is more of a stiffer task and although Chennai Express can get there it will be very close run thing. At the moment Chennai Express is looking at range a of 195-205 crore nett depending on what unfolds over the next two weeks. |
