Chennai Express Heads For ALL TIME RECORD Distributor Share

Chennai Express is set to collect the highest distributor share ever and be the second film to go over the 100 crore share mark. Last year Ek That Tiger had a huge distributor share of around 107 crore and Chennai Express is sure to beat that and go past the 110 crore mark.

The film is holding strong in the second week and collections will go over 35 crore nett and the 98 crore distributor share of Three Idiots which was second to Ek Tha Tiger in terms of share has already been crossed by Chennai Express.

The record nett collections of Three Idiots is more of a stiffer task and although Chennai Express can get there it will be very close run thing. At the moment Chennai Express is looking at range a of 195-205 crore nett depending on what unfolds over the next two weeks.

Chennai Express 2nd Monday Box Office Collection

Chennai Express has collected a very decent 3.25-3.5 crore nett on 2nd Monday as per estimates. Final figure may vary. Chennai Express total collection after 11 days and Paid Preview stands at around 181.45 crore nett.

Chennai Express registered a drop of around 65% from 2nd Sunday, but it has to taken into count that 2nd Sunday collections were just out of this world. Plus, film is into 2nd weekdays. Chennai Express 2nd Week collection is now heading for 35-36 crore nett mark. That means film will be around 190 crore nett by the end of this week. And if all augurs well for the film then it has every chance of touching or crossing 200 crore nett in coming days. It is to be noted that film is performing exceedingly well in Holidays and Weekend as family audiences are coming in large number. Hence, film still has another decent weekend before the much awaited release of Satyagraha and hence, thus every possibility of crossing 200 crore nett in its lifetime.

Collection Breakup (Actuals) -

1st Week - 154.81 crore nett (Paid Preview included).

2nd Friday - 5.53 crore nett.
2nd Saturday - 7.55 crore nett.
2nd Sunday - 10.06 crore nett.
2nd Monday - 3.25-3.5 crore nett (Estimates).

Total - 181.45 crore nett (approx).
