as the music died down and the astonishment turned to applause, reality stepped in. it was time to leave the stage and walk out to people, let the world in. she looked back tentative... still in shock, still not quite certain as to what happened or how. he walked behind her, she cou;dn't quite fathom it all... and he? was he a little lost in another world too? he kept moving as though seeking something... she turned to look at him, and there he was... and he noticed her and looked right back, a hint of smile, an appraising look, a question in it?

she had to leave... somehow she found her way to the room, and shut the door, then turned and at last all the feelings on her face. she was frazzled, excited, nervous all at once. she couldn't understand what was happening to her. in a piece of beautiful writing and direction, the episode went to its next high after that elevating tango. khushi's emotions, her state of mind at that assault on her senses, that beckoning to her heart, that convulsive response of her gut... what was happening to her. sanaya portrayed a young girl in disarray impeccably... she who was so ready to be woman... look at what she remembered... him wrapped around her, his hand on her navel, both undulating in the closest embrace... and hey devi maiyya what was that... a sound rose in the room, she clutched her chest.

yes, dhak dhak was back. she had worked so hard to forget it, suppress her acidity forever. she'd almost succeeded. but now, after that dance, after that romance, after the smile in his eyes, the heat in his hands... they were back. his submission had had its way with her. she was yes was his. dhak dhak dhakdhak.

as he was hers. and maybe the realisation was so big he needed to rest a bit away from all, and return to equilibrium. he went and leaned against a pillar, a tiredness about him. but rest was denied. the family needed answers. how? what nahin, what the? what was that... it was nothing. the matter of fact man was not going to explain things to his slightly loopy and certainly interfering fam. her partner hadn't come, so he danced with her... that's all... really? well i am pleased they badgered him for it got me the slightly cocked eyebrow look, the roll eyes up edition, the purse lip sexily version (bet he practices that in front of a mirror, he knows how devastating that downward drag of his lips is, i know i know). finally, he called it a day with the deadpan... everything isn't about winning and losing. what! sister almost passed out, grandmother looked aghast, cousin was now certain this is not his bhai, nk looked more clueless. not a matter of haar jeet? was this arnav singh raizada? in a way it was, in a way maybe it wasn't. he seemed to be in a rush... where was he going?

when she opened the door she was sure it was her sis. and that dhak dhak had to be handled. denied... it was all his fault.  who would have thought that laad governor... no she was not going to give in... who did he think he was... makes no faraq to her whatsoever. again great insight into such unsettling feelings, the claim of desire, the force of love... she had to protest.

and it had to be not jiji but the man who leans like a god, of course.

at some point, all thought, movement, rambling had to cease. this was it. eternity in a grain of sand has been sighted i believe, but in the angle of a body, one shoulder casually against a door, two perfectly tucked hands? the lord of dance, nataraja, had done his cosmic number, destroyed all apathy, and started creating love.

Indi, just loved "after the dance", reminds me of "the bachelor's- after the final rose."  Just loved his casual lean, his sexy pout/lip, his predatory walk to her and then his owning right to let down her hair.OMG!!!  Just loved this episode and your review.  You are making me feel better!  Keep it up girl!

You mean this animated siggy, right?

It's a gif with color splash (Black and white with orange)
The canvas is bigger than the gif.
A black color filled layer is placed on top of the gif!
Then you use the erase brush to make the gif visible!
A text layer is created after!

I hope that is helpful!   I think that's how you do it!   I'm no expert since I'm still learning!  Also there's other ways to do the same thing in Photoshop!

Read your exhaustive beautiful thesis on teri meri.  The amount of time, effort, and passion you put in comes shinning through.  Your labor of love straight from your heart.  I have no words.

When I saw the crazy wildness in the top two images, two words came in my head.  Stampede, may be a stampede of wild buffaloes and volcanic eruption, the smoke, the heat, the molten lava.

My goose bump moment, when he so gently lovingly holds her by the neck against her dark cascades and brings her to the lowest dip.  Something in those big dark hands.  He just can't get his eyes and hands off her as if the world stopped right there and she is his world, his goddess.

In pick such an adorable moment.

In red, same thought came in my head as well.  That could be the most intimate glance they ever shared suggestive of mating.  Diwali and photo shoot glances suggestive of courtship.  it seems like they just got undone getting out of an explosion and had to be in public in rush.  First K is shaken as she becomes aware of the surroundings or maybe her womanhood too.  Their expressions with subtle smiles so special as if suggestive of pure bliss following the ecstasy.  The gleam in his eyes speak of the mail pride and possessive instinct, I came to conquer you, you let me and I did it.  Sanaya at the height of her perfection here.  A visible transformation, feminine maturity, blushing, glowing and acknowledging her surrender.  Arshi's 170 has the pictures for this.  Anyway it was symbolic of union of soul as Arshi explains the formation of the heart frame by them as they hold and support each other. This does  happen during mating of the monogamous birds swans I guess.

I wish K had the same depth in her facial expression when she gets up in bed after farm house night and later when she talks with him on the phone.

Love the last image for the contentment and serenity.

thanks, viv, 😳

was a bit of a thesis wasn't it? 😆 i just couldn't seem to stop...

stampede. lovely word. of thoughts and emotions that coursed through the onlooker wildly.

i saw arshi's "swan" images... merging of soul... was lovely.

her reaction to the entire thing here was far more natural than after farmhouse. this was real, one identified, the writer understood a state of mind... the morning after farmhouse felt hard, plastic, fake... sanaya couldn't elevate it somhow to a point which felt authentic. both writing and performance didn't quite make it.
