Thank you. True that. Jalaal's dream meant that he subconsciously admires Jodha's spirit and courage. Chess match? Everyone is expecting Ruqqu to win, so shouldn't Jodha win?LOL

Thank you. Jodha is fearless but she has to learn to conduct herself as a queen , so that demenour and aura is yet to come in - but this raw spirit can be polished and it will be. Jalaal has respect for everyone except Jodha ( on the surface ).LOL... I love Hameeda - sacch mein Mallika to wahee hai.Embarrassed

Remember I told you, you can read everyone's mind thoroughly be it astute MA, dimwitted Adham, overconfident Ruqu, obsessive Jalal or fierce yet scared Jodha..

Today at the first scene Jalal showed the signs of a would be great emperor who abide by the truth always sans  any religious boundary.. Who can differentiate between right and wrong. The next (skipping the mother-daughter scene)scene shifts to his court where his eyes glued to Jodha, even Jodha does not miss a glance of him. And what we see, that how much he hates Jodha's odes about her clan, deep down he adores her for this.He loves her fierce counterpart. That too without being cognizant.

I am sure though he said Ruqaiyaa that he wanted Jodha to lose the chess game, but no one would have been disheartened  more than him if jodha would have lost the game. He doesn't want Jodha to loss, not want her to bow down to any one except him, That's why he gulped down all her food despite excess chili. That what he told her when he went to her room being intoxicated and also stated that in a inebriated state a person speaks all truth. So whatever he said he would keep that words.
And Jodha. how come all of a sudden you are being possessive about him?? Whom you hate the most..Wink

Lovely post Vicky.Clap
Today we got a steady episode.
I liked how Jalal listened to Jodha's lecture to Adham before sending her off to her chambers.Jodha should learn to keep thing short and sweet and keep her listeners intrigued instead of going on and on and boring everyone.
Hamida Banu and Jodha already share a close relationship and i like that.Hamida will be Jodha's guide and will be the one to feed Jodha information about Jalal and why he is this way.
OMG did Jalal just imagined Jodha today?Shocked ShockedOh yes he did.He is racing through the stages to love.Even in his dream he imagines Jodha with bravery and patriotismLOL.He may be fixated with her but her qualities do not go unnoticed by him.He is in awe of her spark and spirit.Even though he gets frustrated by her and term her courage as arrogance he still gets fascinated by her. When he falls he will fall so hard that he wont remember his own name as Jalal...he will be Akbar. Its funny to see every move Jalal makes Jodha is sternly watching him with suspicion.Maybe she will follow him to his bathroomLOL.
Its funny to see how Jalal and Ruk prepared to attack Jodha with this chess game and acted as if they know nothing about it.Angry
Jalal's promise has been declared to all. This is Jodha's golden opportunity to ask him something then he would never agree for. Those secrets stares that they both gaveDay Dreaming.Jodha hasnt got the Emperor's attention she is itLOL.
As you said Jodha is the gamechanger.Ruk is sitting on a throne and boosting about her talents far too much. Its time for the new player to declare GAME OVER...CHECKMATE to Ruquaiya. Its interesting to see that one by lone Jodha's players are getting knocked down.Ruk's army and power right now is stronger than Jodha's but she is not going down with a fight.Jodha will protect her King and Ruk will finally taste defeat.Jodha is a one man army she doesnt need alot to prove how great she is.Jodha will protect her King in the game and in real life.
Prcap:Everyone looks fine and everything seems back to normal.Even Ruk looks ok.Does that mean Ruk won or Jodha?ConfusedBut one thing i am sure of a game is never over by the knocks one takes in the middle of it.A game ends when one opponent has been knocked down so hard he cant retaliate.
Maybe Jodha should ask Jalal to change his name.It would be epicLOL

Today's episode was very balanced indeed...
we got to see subtle romance (JA eyelocks in the darbar)...
we got to see politics (Jalal-Jodha-adham)
we got to see drama (Ruqs-Jodha)
we got to see emotion (Hameeda dressing Jodha while Mainawati looks on)
All within 25 minutes
very very well directed indeed...Clap
loved your analysis too...you have a penchant for describing scenes indepth

I loved those two words that Jodha smilingly said as soon as she saw Hamida Begum. "Pranaam, Ammi Jaan"Smile. Just those two  words served as a raft between these two opposite & extremely prejudiced shores- the Rajputs & the Mughals. That whole scene was so charming! And it's clear that Hamida Begum has transferred all her hopes & desires onto Jodha. I don't think she had any such love or hope of any other wife of Jalal's. it seems more like even Hamida Begum ( who isn't exactly what One would call wily, which makes me wonder how  she gave birth to a son whose mind is not only extremely wily but, swifter  & sharper than the sword he cannot ever part with LOL)  senses that Jodha is "juda, alag, sabse  Khaas". Or it might just be mothers intuition. She feels the effect, very subliminally, that Jodha has on her bete Jaan & hence she has fallen in love with Jodha. She's started to really grow on me. Nowdays she behaves, and looks a lot more like a Mughal Empress than she ever has Smile. HYPERVatis expressions were a bit funny though! But unmistakable, was her happiness on seeing her beloved daughter being showered with such love that too ,from the Mother-Empress of the Mughal Sultanate.. I've been feeling ever since the Royal Couple of Amer (ESP the mother who in blind panic) descended upon Agra; that Jalal very sub consciously wants to keep Jodha happy & since he understands very well that doing so would be to keep her parents happy, he is going out if his way to do so. This desire (along with every other desire to do with Jodha Tongue) is so deeply hidden that he isn't even aware that it exists. Yes, he did make her parents stay back to humiliate her through the chess match. But why then did he, being the Shahenshah of Hindustaan, feel the need to escort his wife's mother? That wife, who he loses no opportunity to " belittle" who proclaims ferociously he will destroy! Who he hates? Why then, does he insist on making his wife cook food for him? It is a very lover like desire. To have his wife cook for him. And Jodha's reluctance, his livid anguish at the mirchi incident was much more than what was seen. Jalal saw that as yet another rejection of him. This time it hurt like no other insult of Jodha's- yet. And coming back to the topic, why does he make those banjaaras sing for Jodha's father stating that it would make him happy as he is away from his kingdom ? No. Jalal is day by day, falling for Jodha. But it is so subtle, and so very mired in Hatred & Revenge & then processed through Jalal's highly layered personality; that the poor little dear has absolutely NO idea what will hit him soon! LOL.. Paridhi looked very funny fluttering that flag around. It seemed like she kept wondering when it will land on her head! LOL

I will stick by what I've been saying- I want the match to turn (literally) and for Jodha to be on the Victor's Path.. And deliberately lose. Jalal being The Jalal who never ever misses even a single step however subtle it maybe, notices that. And proclaims Jodha as the winner.. This rattles Ruqaiyya & she finally accepts Jodha as a real rival.. So much better! Big smile

I will repeat..Brilliant postClapClapClap

Jodha and Hamida bano were very adorable...Hamida bano, so fond of jodha...jodha was overwhelmed...

Finally, we got an insight into jalal's mind...what he thinks of jodha??? He sees her as fierce woman...one who is very proud of her lineage...and, he admires her for these qualities...

Ruqaiya...well, ahh let it be...No comments...LOL
