Chennai Express 2nd Sunday Collection Update. Big Jump.

Chennai Express is registering big jump on Second Sunday at the Indian Box Office. Film is performing much better than 2nd Friday and 2nd Saturday, although the previous day collections are also pretty good. CE has registered a very good occupancy of 55-60% till the last report filled in for today.

Film opened to 45-50% occupancy in Morning shows. After that film has show growth with each passing show and it is now registering an occupancy of around 60-65% which is big. That means around 25% growth is seen on 2nd Sunday from 2nd Saturday. Family audiences are again coming in numbers and watching the flick, despite there is another release in Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara also running in theaters.

Chennai Express has collected around 168 crore nett till 2nd Saturday and should be around 177+ crore nett by the end of 2nd Weekend. Chennai Express 2nd Weekend collection should be around 22-23 crore nett, which is also very good, considering a big first week for the film.

Chennai Express right now looks just impossible to stop and if all goes well is pretty certain to break the 3 Idiots lifetime collection mark in coming days. Film needs another 2-3 days of good business to achieve this coveted record, which is unbroken for a long time. Its rejoice time for Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone fans worldwide.
