Chennai Express has collected around 6.5-6.75 crore nett on Second Saturday at box office as per estimates. Final figure may vary. Film registered a good jump of around 20-25% on 2nd Saturday from 2nd Friday. Film total collection at the end of 9 days + paid preview is around 167 crore nett.

Film is just in record breaking mode and marching ahead with elan. Collections of second weekend is decent till now and if one looks at the humongous business of 1st week, it can be considered even better. Film is a Mega Blockbuster and that also in 1st week itself. As for today (2nd Sunday) film should show a big jump again and even advance booking report is also good. With each passing day film's chances of surpassing 3 Idiots lifetime collection is increased. Film is certain to be in top 3 grossers of all time, question is whether it can reach the top or not.
