Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network

Chennai Express was steady at the beginning of its third week with collections around the 2 crore nett mark. The film should now gross around 15 crore nett over the week and cross the 200 crore nett mark by the end of its third week.

The film will emerge the all time top grosser in West Bengal, Nizam, Mysore and TNK while Bihar may also set a record. East Punjab is the worst performing territory with the film sure to be behind Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and may even end up behind Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in terms of nett collections.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai dropped heavily on its eighth day with collections around the 1-1.25 crore nett mark. The film likely to close with business a little over 60 crore nett.

OUATIMD Goes Down On 2nd Friday At The Box Office

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaaras collections dropped as the film entered its 2nd week run at the Box Office. In fact, the film fared even worse than its preceding day. With collections of 1.30 crores on 2nd Friday, the films total income so far stands at 55.55 crores at the domestic box office.

Akshay Kumars magic and Once Upons franchise name could not really help the film because the gangster drama turned into an unoriginal love drama.

Sonakshi Sinha And Imran Khan Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara! Movie Stills

The film witnessed low occupancy on Day 8 and failed to pick up even in the evening and late night shows. It will also see a major slow down with Madras Cafe hitting the screens and has received good reviews from most critics!

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara Has Huge Drop

Monday 26th August 2013 11.00 IST

Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara had a huge drop in its second weekend grossing 4.50 crore nett approx. The fall from last weekend is close to 90%.

The total after the second weekend is 55.50 crore nett and it is looking to close at 58 crore nett after two weeks and then it may just get to 60 crore nett lifetime. The business of the film is in the same range as Akshay Kumar's last two starrers Khildai 786 and Special 26 which did 63 crore nett and 65 crore nett respectively but while those numbers are fair for those films its not the case for Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara as its a much bigger film.

The film has not managed to do well anywhere, even Mumbai circuit where there is more appreciation for underworld films has seen a huge fall in the second weekend.
