Now these are going to be exciting times indeed. In the season of biggies, Akshay Kumar starrerOnce Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara! is releasing on Independence Day, hence ensuring that for audience, there is much to rejoice. The biggie has been in news ever since it's inception and due to sequel factor, it carries immense curiosity as well. The promotion has been aggressive, the film is much awaited and most importantly, the package of actors, director (Milan Luthria), producer (Ekta Kapoor), writer/lyricist (Rajat Arora) and composer (Pritam) is exciting as well, hence promising a good outing in the offering.

Of course there has been immense speculation around the number of screens it would be arriving at, considering the fact that Chennai Express is doing exceedingly well. Well, the truth is that the film is seeing a good release for itself and as per the latest indications, over 2200 screens are certainly on. Moreover, this is mainly the first week number because in the following week, one expects a reduction of only a few screens due to arrival of Madras Cafe, which would be more prominent on the multiplexes.
All of this means that if OUATIMD is a well made film, which appears to be the case, it should stay on well for at least a fortnight till Satyagraha releases and earns its own chunk of screens. Meanwhile the film is poised to benefit from Independence Day holiday, Sunday and then Rakhi (Tuesday) which should ensure that there is a bountiful of moolah all set to be added
