Summary of the Week 15^th ' 18^th July

There was lots of movement in the storyline this week. The last two episodes of Wednesday and Thursday were action packed! 😆

Monday: Chhanchhan meets Sonali in the park ' she saves Sonali, Sonali finds Puchpuch. Chhanchhan notices Sonali's bangle, Sonali mentions her future MIL gifted it to her for her birthday. First coincidence noted.

Chhanchhan is late back home to meet Dadaji, who is annoyed at being considered second in importance to a dog. Chhanchhan is banished to the verandah to stay with Puchpuch. The family is upset, Babuji tries to reason with Dadaji, Umaben pretends to try, but Dadaji cannot be reasoned with.

Manav joins Chhanchhan outside, very angry with his Dadaji. Chhanchhan calms him down. Umaben comes to see them and rules out Chhanchhan coming back inside the house even for minor necessities. Manav loses his cool at that ' he has to get Chhanchhan back inside the house.

Tuesday: Manav tries to enlist the help of the family members to persuade Dadaji to forgive CHhanchhan. Ranjana refuses to try, Kaumudi tries, but is refused by Dadaji. Manav gets angry, and snatches Dadaji's blanket and pillow and informs Dadaji that he will spend the night with Chhanchhan outside, since she is not allowed to come in.

Dadaji battles his conscience, he is already not feeling good about banishing Chhanchhan, and now Manav also. The arrival of a thunderstorm does it ... he changes his mind and allows Manav and Chhanchhan to come into the house. After a mini tantrum from Manav, they both do.

And Umaben starts plotting her next plan to discredit Chhanchhan in Manav's and Dadaji's eyes ... since this one did not succeed. She tells Chhanchhan to make breakfast for Dadaji the next morning, and she must make sure it is on time.

Wednesday: Much to Umaben's surprise, Chhanchhan does get up in time to make Dadaji's breakfast. So Umaben sends her out of the kitchen, and spoils the breakfast Chhanchhan has made.

Umaben seems to have no respect for food! 😡

Chhanchhan and Manav are dismayed to see the spoiled breakfast. Manav tells CHhanchhan to make it again, while he stalls Dadaji.

Manav enlists Manthan, most unwillingly 😉 and gets Dadaji busy in a yoga lesson for all the brothers, much to their disgust. Umaben and Matilal are also forced to join. This gives Chhanchhan enough time to make the breakfast again. And when she's ready, Manav calls an end to the class! 😆

Manav wants Chhanchhan's thanks for helping her out. Chhanchhan decides to get his name tattooed on her wrist as a mark of her love. 😳

In the tattoo parlour, Chhanchhan meets Sonali again. In the casual conversation between the two girls, Sonali mentions that her fiance's family is in business, is a joint family and her MIL is very traditional, and that she is not yet formally engaged. Chhanchhan mentions that her husband's name is Manav. 

Sonali drops the bombshell that her fiance's name is Manav Borisagar. Chhanchhan is shocked into silence. 

 Chhanchhan remembers the flashbacks of Umaben's first drama of being on her deathbed, due to which Manav had left his house. She also remembers Umaben's vow that she would not rest till she had thrown Chhanchhan out of her and her son's life for good. And she starts to wonder ' is this the same Manav Borisagar? And is the sweetness and acceptance by Umaben all a drama?

Thursday: a dhamakedar episode. Starts with the brothers grumbling about their enforced exercise and annoyed with Manav ' just because of his wife, they had to undergo the pain! 😆

A very disturbed Chhanchhan goes to her parents' home where they notice her worry.  Chhanchhan makes up a story about a friend, who is in love with a boy, but her friend's mother has fixed her match with someone else. Should she tell her friend? Dadi as usual gives Chhanchhan the right advice, while Papa Sarabhai is worried about his daughter ' is she talking about herself? Chhanchhan reassures him that she is not.

Back in the Borisagar house, dadaji punishes all the bahus because his lunch is ten minutes late. Umaben is included in the punishment. 😆 Umaben tries to put the blame on Chhanchhan visiting her maayka, but Dadaji doesn't buy the excuse. All of them have to recite an essay on Punctuality ' unfortunately for them, the essay is in English.😛

Chhanchhan helps out the three younger bahus by translating the essay so that they can learn it in Hindi.😃

Chhanchhan asks Umaben that she wants to see the kangan again, Umaben tells her they are not ready yet. Chhanchhan wonders again ' something is wrong.😕

Later that night, Chhanchhan plucks up the courage to tell Manav about what Sonali said. Manav doesn't believe that his mother could be planning his second wedding, but promises Chhanchhan that if it is true, he will leave the house with her.

The next day, Chhanchhan and Manav meet Sonali in the park. Chhanchhan questions her about her fiance, and Sonali does a complete turnaround by saying her fiance's name is Manav Naagar. Chhanchhan is left shocked. The first seeds of mistrust are sown in the ChhanMan relationship.  

Next week will be very interesting!
