It is one thing to take some liberty for dramatization but it does not mean that any person can show anything in the name of creativity.

Already, Ekta had taken a dangerous route of showing "Jodha" Akbar's love story, even though there is no historical anecdote/ myth to substantiate the fact that Akbar had been hopelessly in love with one of his queens - "Jodha". Wacko

I am sure Ekta is going to show how Jodha will transform the bigot into a tolerant emperor. Ermm But truth is, Akbar's decisions to bridge the gap between two communities could have been influenced by several factors instead of his "love" for Jodha.
Among his advisers, most of them were Rajput hindu and Akbar himself was an intelligent leader who knew the importance of having good political alliances and keeping his subjects happy for the prosperity of his empire.

Waiting to see how much importance Ekta gives to the characters of Todormal, Mansingh, Birbal who influenced Akbar's life greatly
.Evil Smile

Even if we keep aside the Jodha factor, Ekta could have shown the other incidents accurately. There are enough resources to know what were incidents happened before Bairam Khan was sent to Haj for the final time or of the cruel exploits of Aadham Khan. But Ekta's creatives were stretching their own imagination to depict the complicated relationship.

Can't Ekta at least stick to the facts where information is available? Stern Smile

Rajat is superb as Akbar Tongue Paridhi is good too. It would have been better if Ekta could have concentrated in depicting Akbar's life and keeping Hirabai/Hadka or Jodha as part of his life. We could have seen more of Rajat Embarrassed and it would have been easier for Balaji to stick to the facts. Big smile

Pata nehi Ekta mai ki dimaag ki batti kab jalegi? D'oh

People like me would have runaway first chance if only Akbar was shown and no Jodha ( akbar not rajat). Im here for the love story. the romance. N a historical one? *drool*
Sure, mostly people started watchng it for Rajat but a large part of the viewers will be there for the love story, that goes, the show goes, because other than the love story the show has no appeal. No proper historical feel, no good direction, very improbable scenarios put in. Only the music n the acting of SOME is good.

Same here , I would'nt have bothered to watch a single episode for a second if it were not promised to be a grand n passionate  love story of Jodha n Akbar .
And as you said , this show has nothing much in it's kitty except the ' promise' to be a love story . Approve

That is because Ekta's team didn't even try to show it as Akbar's life story. They wanted to show it as "love story". Only a big production house like Balaji could venture for such a huge production but they didn't even try it.

Moreover, Ekta has not completely overlooked the presence of other characters like Bairam Khan, Mahamanga or even Rokeya begum. When she is presenting the incidents related to them, then won't it better if she could have stick to the facts as much as possible instead of making imaginary tales? Confused

I dont think its anymore in EK's hands to run the show or shut it down.Only those can decide the fate of this show who are against it and that force is very strong I must say ,she fired the bullet and it cannot come back ,for every "wrong"action there's a "strong and equal"reaction.

A day after the protest staged by Rajput Kshatriya Akhil Bharatiya Sabha, wherein 10 protestors and five police officials were reportedly injured, the Chandigarh Police surprisingly booked five persons on charges of attempt to murder. However, no arrests have been made by the police yet.

According to the police, the protestors had pelted stones on the personnel and also lathi-charged the force outside Maharana Pratap Hostel, Sector 25, on Wednesday. In retaliation, the police had claimed to have used tear gas and water cannon to control the situation. When asked the reason for booking the accused under Section 307, Central DSP Ashish Kapoor said, "The protestors hit our officials with stones and sticks. A few police personnel sustained serious injuries".

He added, "The case of attempt to murder applies to all the protestors involved in hitting the police personnel. However, since we have identified only five of them, a case has been registered against them".

Apart from Section 307, the five accused - Mohinder Singh Tanwar, Ved Pal Tanwar, Rishi Raj, Yogender Tanwar and Sukhdev Singh Rana - have also been booked under several other sections of the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act at the Section 11 Police Station. "We are planning to arrest the accused soon," Kapoor said.

The protestors had raised their concern over the telecast of TV serial Jodha Akbar, as they alleged that the serial showcased false information about Jodha marrying Akbar to save her father's kingdom.
