Here's another fanfic...decided to do one on the eternal love birds - Jai and Bani😛
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai – JB fanfic
Characters:
Jai Walia – He's a 22 year old college student – last year of undergrad…applying for MBA soon.
Bani – 3rd year student in the same college as Jai. She's 21.
Jigyaasa – 3rd year student. She's also 21 and she's Jai's sister.
Aditya – 1st year student – he's new…Jai doesn't know him yet! 19
Pia – 1st year student at the same college. 19
Rano – senior in high school. 18
Jai and Bani have been best friends all their life. Jai's mother and Bani's mother used to be friends from their childhood, so even though, they're from different social classes, Jai and Bani still manage to be best friends. Bani's mother passed away when she was still in high school and Jai's mother passed away soon after that. Since then, Jai's maasi has been a motherly figure for both Jai and Bani.
Part 1:
Bani was cooking breakfast and trying to study for her exam at the same time.
Bani: God, I hate biology. Why am I becoming a doctor?...okay, now, why am I talking to myself? RANOOOOO…wake up. Pia, wake up!!!
The two sleepyheads walked in to the kitchen.
Pia: Di, do we have to go? I hate college. None of the guys pay attention to me anymore.
Rano: then, why don't you pay attention to studying for a change?
Pia: shut up!
Rano: you shut up!
Bani: Rano, Pia, be quiet! Rano, wake Papa up! Pia, go take a shower.
Rano and Pia in unison: okay, di!
This has become a daily routine for Bani since her mother died. But she didn't mind. She liked cooking for her family and taking care of them. It was like she was the oldest. Her Papa always played along with Pia and Rano like a little kid. She smiled as she thought about him affectionately.
She was setting the breakfast on the table as Pia, Rano, and Papa walked in. She smiled and went to give him a hug.
Bani: Good morning, Papa.
Papa: Good morning beta! Ready for a new day?
Bani smiled at the question. He asked her that everyday. She said, "Yup!"
Everyone finished their breakfast and headed off in different directions. Papa went to the factory, Rano to school, and Pia and Bani went to college.
Pia: Di, I really hate college. School was so much easier.
Bani grinned and said: Pia, school was only easier because all the guys always let you cheat off of them.😆
Pia: Hey!!! So what? I always did them favors! I ate lunch with them.
Bani: I know. I know. I was just kidding, Pia.
As they entered the university, Pia and Bani split to go to their different classes.
Bani was walking when she heard a whistle. She paused and smiled thinking it was for Pia and continued walking. She heard another whistle, this time closer. She turned around and saw Jai.
Bani grinned and said: Jai!!! Were you the one whistling at me?
Jai: why are you so surprised? You've never had guys whistle at you?
Bani: No!!! I don't want guys whistling at me. I don't need that kind of attention!
Jai: okay okay…but it wasn't me whistling…it was Rahul behind me.
Bani turned around to look behind her and low and behold, there stood Rahul grinning like an idiot.😆 She glared at him and turned back around.
Bani: why is he following me?
Jai: he likes you! Aww…Rahul and Bani sitting on a tree….😆
Bani smacked him on the shoulder and said, "Shut up! I hate him! I hate you!"
Jai: okay..okay…I'm sorry.
He held his ears and said, "mujhe maaf kardo!"
Bani: kiya!
Jai gave her a grin and as he was walking away, he said, "You can never be mad at me, Bani."
Bani looked down, the smile leaving her face. She was thinking, 'You are right Jai. I can never be mad at you.'
Then she saw Rahul wink at her and she ran like hell to class.
