American English all the way!!! When I think of British English, I just think of stuffy, old people. It's sad, but true. American English is so much more easy-going and informal, but then again, I guess I'm biased.

Well I like American English...of course I'm totally biased b/c I was born and raised here in the U.S. I don't really have any argument as to why i like it better except for the fact that i'm comfortable with it and have familiariy with it.

I guess it's whatever you're comfortable with. I don't think either are necessarily better. True, British English is the original, but a lot of the American English has become standard around the world due to the spread of Hollywood movies.

Hmmm... looks like the American English party is winning. Disapprove

I personally like British English because it's more sophisticated and polite and it originally came from England. Thats why its called 'English" not "American".

British English hands down...British English has a reasonable degree of uniformity in its formal written form, which, as taught in schools, is largely the same as in the rest of the English-speaking world (except North America).........British English has traditionally been regarded as 'proper English' ....The form of the English used in much of the rest of the world has remained closer to British English ...besides,its a nice feeling to spell a word the right way Embarrassed
