It was already 6pm and Daya was still not ready. She now only had 2 hours to get ready and Jethalal was not helping at all.
"He Bhagwan! Uthye na, kyu mujhe pareshaan kar rahe hu? Mujhe abhi bhi teyar hona he aur aap mera time waste maat kijye!" said Daya
"Are meri janemaan" replied Jethala making Daya blush. "Kyu itni utawli horahi ho? Abhi bhi do ghante baki he!"
"Haan, par aap kyu nahi samajte? Gharba keliye mujko acche se sajna saavrna bhi toh hai!" replied Daya.
Off she went to her room to go get ready, not waiting for an answer as she knew it would take time! She went for a shower which took around 30 minutes as she had to wash her hair as well. After showering she got into her green tiki sari which had a gold border. It was her favourite, after all Jethalal had gifted it. She left her hair to dry before going into the kitchen to make tea..
"Hayee, Daya..baal khule rakh kar bohot soni lagrahi ho" said Jethalal, coming closer to Daya
"Haat, mazat mat kijye aurfatafat apki chai pilijye. Humko der horahi he." Replied Daya, leaving the kitchen.
Just then the doorbell rang. Oh gosh, the quests have arrived already thought Daya. They're half an hour early. Typical. Sighing and plastering a smile on her face she went to open the door.
"Jai Shree Krishna"

"Jai Shree Krishna" she greeted the guests one by one.
Calling Jethalal to
the side Daya told him to take care of the guests while she went off to finish
getting ready.
After putting her hair back to her usual bun, Daya applied very light make up.
Looking into the mirror she realised something was missing. Just then Jethalal
walks in, admiring her. He stops when he realises something is missing.
"Kya hua, sari toh barabar che na?" Daya asked worried
"Haan, sab kuch thik hai par..." Jethalal replied bending down to pick up the box of sindoor. "yeh bhul gayi thi"
"Are haan, sindoor lagane bhool gayi thi" replied Daya taking the box from Jethalal's hands before being stopped.
Jethalal applied sindoor to Daya's maang making her blush. He once again proved that there is no age limit to love.
"Now you look perfect" He whispered in her ear.
They went downstairs to escort all the guests and make their way to the colony area where they could already hear the band playing. All the guests immediately left knowing that once JeYa would start dancing no could beat them. JeYa just laughed knowing it was true.
Hand in hand they left the house excited to dance the night away…
