Atleast she doesnot have a Agenda like anandi when she planned for shivs birthday. Poor ashima gave all the info needed to  anandi and DS made good use of it to trap shiv. Libs, in my opinion, it is not correct to compare anandi celebrating shiv's b'day to that of ganga celebrating jagya's b'day. Anandi had no feelings for shiv at that time besides high respect for a collector. But ganga secretly adores jagya.


Secondly, anandi was living in her own house and dadisa and everyone loved her. Who is Ganga in that house?

Well, if everyone was behaving normally with Ganga, even I would support her OTT excitement.

But Sumi has recently warned her that if Ratan attacks Jagya again, she will also have to face the 'parinaam'...indirectly she told her that she will throw her out of the house.

When sumitra yelled at her because of Mannu, did she even think what might have happened to her and her son if Gehna had slipped and fallen down? What would have been her fate in that house?

These two incidents were a signal to any normal woman to take matters seriously and start making plans to move out of that house. But she is rather making plans to celebrate jagya's b'day as if Singhs don't know how to celebrate a b'day.

Moreover, she does not even know if Jagya has any feelings for her. 

If Jagya is like a God to her, as someone mentioned, he is also God to sanchi. So what is wrong if sanchi shows her excitement ?

Even if ganga secretly adores Jagya, it is not a crime. And ganga also respects Jagya and everyone. Her love maybe likened to that of meera's love for Krishna. A selfless love. While Sanchi's love for Jagya and her excitement for him is that of a highly possessive maniacal woman. She is shouting at everybody, throwing tantrums and doing all sorts of  drama inspite of having a cushioned existence.

Any sane person will prefer ganga over sanchi as a partner.

Nobody said it is a crime. But Ganga celebrating jagya's b'day cannot be compared with anandi celebrating Shiv's b'day... that is what I meant.

it's very easy to say Ganga should be independent but even becoming independent needs someone helps...Anandi was head of Jaitsar and educated but we all know that if Singhs and Shiv would not have been there for her she would have never regained that confidence in life and herself she has now...even with so much confidence she them for support and care to guide her...everyone needs someone or the other in every walk of life...Ganga is not so educated and strong to fight against Ratan and cruel world alone...just because one person suddenly acting weird does not mean Ganga is losing self-respect...if Ganga suddenly leaves haveli even after Dadisa and Jagya's request it will be insult to them

As a mother Sumitra's fear is correct but how can she simply throw out Ganga...it was her family who gave her hope and everything...now leaving Ganga is midway will be cruel to her...it will be equal to Shiv leaving Anandi after giving so much hope and new life to her...if Sumitra wants Ganga out of her house then provide another alternative for her protection...it's was Singhs who brought Ganga so it's their responsibility to find her proper security if they are getting her out their house...Ganga always wanted to leave Haveli after her education but Singhs made her stay here and gave her hope so why break her dreams like this...it's not Ganga's fault if Sumitra was not prepared for the danger which lied ahead in helping Ganga

Thank you, you beautifully put across what I wanted to say.
I guess we should make some concession for Ganga. Poor girl has gone through so much in life that finally she's finding hope and a small glimmer of happiness. She's in a situation which she never dreamed possible, she is getting educated, trying to be independent. And now passing her exams (which she was so scared about) has given her a new-found confidence and hope of a better future for her & her son. So naturally she would feel ecstatic at the moment and when she heard about the birthday of the man who made her dreams possible, naturally she was excited to do something for him as a way of showing her gratitude for all he has done. There is absolutely no selfish motive there. One trait of Ganga that has remained constant throughout has been her selflessness. All she wants is Jagya and the Singh family's happiness. This excitement has just made her forget all about Sumi's attitude towards her for the time being.

Here Sanchi is doing the arti on her own, almost throwing it on Jagya. Its totally unfair to compare Sanchi's situation with Anandi's situation at that time.

Yes, totally unfair to compare anandi and sanchi. Sanchi is not as smart as anandi. She is showing her feelings. Where as anandi madam is a expert. She was happily flirting and got the complete family to agree to her flirt. But sanchi she cannot get the family agree to her flirt. What a rule, one for anandi one for sanchi. Again, anandi is not a deedh peethe bachchi, she did only what she wanted to do before and present also. No one can pressurize her. DS never pressurized her otherwise she would have listened to all what DS said. But, anandi listens to her selectively only. She listens whatever she wants to listen and rejects others. Anandi what a schemer, got what she wants and made it look like she is saathi savithri  and family pressurized. See sanchi is not soo smart. She is stupid. That's the difference. So, can't compare both.

Yes, can't be compared because anandi had an agenda and Ganga does not. So, no comparison.
