Forum 32- Surveen- Life Lessons

Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year brings you very real emotions, situations and lessons that one can apply in one's life. Yesterday's episodes gave you tips on love, life and things in between. Suvreen Guggal (Smiriti Kalra) in her single minded ambition to forge ahead in life and be successful, forgot to pay her electricity bill. It happens to all of us. While she only thought about what Soni (Sonia Balani) would think, she forgot about her boyfriend Yuvraj Singh (Shivin Narang).

It took Maddy aka Samar (Karamjeet Singh Rajpal) to bring home the thought that while work may be worship and being single minded in that sphere is good, one must remember that there are people who care about you and relationships are more important than anything else. They say,Jaan hai toh Jahaan hai.  But to add to that we would say, when everything fails there is family, so there is her family that is her parents, Baldev Guggal (Akshay Anand) and Lovely Guggal (Ekta Sharma) and of course her anchor, Yuvraj. She did tell him things that were bitter, even mean. Be it to accuse him of having no work. How is he going to take this? Does she know that her parents are going through some rough times and she needs to come through for them? How will her statement change when she finds her father is out of a job and now will need  her support. Yuvraj and her father have been her strength and support. Will Suvreen return the favor, so to speak? Life lesson according to us is, don't take things for granted.

Then another lesson came from Rohan (Vibhu Raghave) to Geeti (Sudipti Parmar). If you love someone, set them free, if they come back to you, they are yours forever, else they never were. Wise words. However, is it easy to let go? Everyone needs someone they can call their own. While it may not be about possession or belonging, but about sharing. Is Geeti being too clingy to Vikram? Is that why he is commitment phobic? When in love, does one lose the perspective of giving space? And what is appropriate? Is there a formula. One supposes that one only lives and learns.

Then there is of course one coming up for you all from Ira (Simple Kaul). Is seeing always believing? Is there a truth beyond what one sees? Does jealousy blind us to facts that might be right before us. What about someone trying to show you things that may not exist. So the lesson that one learn is don't believe everything you see, for there may be things hidden from you that may have changed the perspective if only you could have seen. We have an anecdote, true or not we don't know, but perhaps it puts the point across. There was man, a husband, who went home early and found his wife in bed with someone. Incriminating, right? Yes, of course would be your answer. And what he saw was right. What he did not see was a man holding a gun from one end of the room.
