btw, i just read first few pages of this thread.. where you guys were talking about Maheen & Mansha.. they really are good actors...and I also think the girl playing Aarzoo in Kankar is also doing a pretty good job.

hopefully it will.. but Sakeena Sammo is the director... she ruined Amarbail.. so i'm not expecting much from this serial..

Sakina Samo also directed Wujood e Laraib..Umera's first novel adaptation on television..and it was beyond awesome. I think Sakina isn't as bad as some are making her seem..Even Sarmad and Mehreen Jabbar mess up let alone Sakina who's primarily an actor.

And, even Humsafar's story was plain and ordinary..the execution made the difference..hopefully this show is really well illustrated on screen.

Also..Adeel and Mikaal have done some of their best work with Umera's scripts.

Mikaal - Shehr e Zaat and Durre Shahwar

Adeel - Daam

I'm honestly just skeptical about Sanam Jung. Umera usually has the best castings in her show..but ever since Shehr e Zaat with Mahira ruining Falak's character here and there..I'm not too sure about Jung. She was okay in Dil e Muztar but Umera's work requires something else. Hope she lives up to my expectations. I hate it when Umera's casting goes wrong. I don't know how I watched all of SeZ because I couldn't watch Man O Salwa or Amar Bail.
