Haven't been following any TV recently so don't have much to say. Been busy haunting the fanfiction section of IF for the last week or so. I think that obsession is slowly dwindling as well.

Spent the day de-cluttering my closet. My room looks like a disaster zone.

So, both sid and DD got less thsi week. It must have been hard to practice two acts and do their daily shows at the same time. Feel bad for them.

Question for the two doctors on this thread

Are IVF babies at more health risk than those conceived normally ? Me having a debate on the forum and I am saying a baby is a baby irrespective of how it was conceived. Why is a premature baby conceived through IVF any different or at greater risk from a premature baby conceived naturally ? Am I missing anything ?

what? why would an IVF baby be at a greater risk?despite the egg being fertilized in vitro; it is still transferred to the mother's uterus and carried to term or preterm; the only thing is IVF normally results in multiple births and if there are quintuplets then there is a risk that they will be preterm compared to just one baby being carried to full term; however, not to say that a natural birth if preterm will have any lesser risks Edited by DrModel - 10 years ago

there are studies of birth defects and autism being higher but these have been inconclusive

However, i am not a reproductive specialist or an ob/gyn or a neonatologist; adult medicine ALL THE WAAAYY!

lol  Nivi, expert opinion would mean the opinion of a neonatologist or an ob/gyn not that of a medical resident😆

Medical resident has better knowledge than a person with no background of medicine.
