Whats the latest thing on SC quashing CETs for medical colleges - good or bad?...

And oh I diss cricket on the whole - but cannot take crap against Tendulkar - Ponting, Shoaib Akhtar 👎🏼...specially Shoaib - he probably forgot the semi final match of India-PAK in the 2003 world cup...and how ST had torn his bowling apart

They all seem to be chadoing on ST becoz he had the longest tenure...nobody survives in this field so much - he did - if only he had retired one year earlier - things would have been different...whatevas love Tendulkar

I just saw this news.I am very happy about it.😃

MCI wanted to conduct a common test and wanted all the medical colleges to take students based on that test scores.

The state govts and lot of pvt medical coleges were against this common test called NEET.

They went to court against that and got the verdict in their favour.

We conduct our own admission test which is much more rigorous than lot of other tests and conduct an interview for the candidates who qualified in that written test and then admit them and train them.

If MCI had it's way we would have been prevented from taking candidates who we found fit enough to be trained in our college hospital.That is actually curbing our rights because there are some pvt colleges which do not collect capitation fee nor or they govt funded but chose to educate students whom they have selected.

Any day better to have GD PIs than MCQ/ written tests...there is a difference between technical brilliance and practical smartness...glad SC gave the right verdict then

So apparently DD, Mukti, kids and Lauren got a 30 again...hopefully Sid would have got a 27 or atleast 26 this time?

Mukti's choreographer also has been changed apparently because of injuries

Mukti's song selection was wrong last time around.

This time it was Jhalandhar act apparently.This mythological acts seem to be working well this time around in Jhalak.

I am sure Sid must have gotten more than 24 this time.He definitely is going to be safe.

I am not really impressed with the little girl at all.The boy is better though who has a range.

Lauren I am sure she would have done well.

DD no comments.

Kids who are trying to get into various courses may feel this verdict is not in their favour.

But we have to face it.Getting into medical college is one thing and withstanding the course is another thing altogether.

Because it is not just the smartness and technical brilliance that helps you while doing the course it is your mental strength and your ability to withstand the sight of a person in pain and be moved by it and yet have enough sense to think logically is what is needed to get through the training.That ability cannot be tested by some MCQs.

Man hats off to u guys for taking up medical as a profession...👏, one of my relatives is in paed since 20 years and even today she has the same vigour and compassion for her profession and patients and continues to strive towards learning and updating herself

I wish today's generation would stop running behind money...I am fed up of everyone coming into CA

I am not saying that doctors are noble and they don't like money.

Who wouldn't like money?Who says there is no money in the field of medicine?

It just that when when one is after money they won't be successful at making money medicine.

It is the success rate you have while battling with the patients problems that makes you successful person.And money you get is dependant on that success.

For that matter any profession if you chase perfection in your work success will come and money automatically follows success.

I feel really saddened when I see kids while preparing for these admission tests when they keep seeing only the competition that is there instead of spending time and energy on ways to get the perfect score which will see them through the competition.

When I was preparing for my admission test whenever I thought of the no of people who are doing the test I used to get sinking feeling.It took a lot to keep the issue of competition out of the mind and just concentrate on the subject.Once I stopped thinking about others and only thought about myself and my performance in the test it was so easy to concentrate and I managed to do quite well in my admission test😊

I wish there is a way I could tell those kids not to worry about others just concentrate on yourself.

Unless Modi changes his ways and stops alienating minority communities he is not getting the top post.

He may want to appeal to the majority community and that's fine but not at the cost of feelings of other religious minorities.

I belong to minority community but I am as much as an Indian as any other person from the majority community.If he says Hindu nationalist that definitely will piss me off since I am not a Hindu but still happens to be nationalist.

Lol Ill tell u what...evryone is getting into CA not because of their love of accounts or tax or law but because the return of cost of education is much faster <<fact is that I was one of the people in that herd race too - but I started enjoying after I started with my internship>>...in around 5 years time after 12th <<ie if people clear in first attempt>> ur done with CA...so by 22 one can start earning...as against that...in medicine after getting MBBS, there is specialisation and cost of studying medicine is huge as compared to CA and all so that many more years and still the output is not much

CA is not a money spinner either..and again there is 11% percent result in CA final for this half year...why doesnt the insti get it that the demand is not enough to absorb so many CAs??...

and then comes the part where I hear this quite often that all we do is break laws..chor accountants and all..but for that one needs to have sound knowledge of laws in the first place...and just y should nt we use our brains in saving taxes which ultimately go in swiss accounts and are not getting utilised in social and economic development of the country??!! There is a thin line between tax evasion and tax planning

I heard about CA and that people take years to clear CA.

I always thought it is cool course as in something really good.

I had that irrational obsession to it.😆

Decided when I was about 6 years old that I am going to be a doctor and what's more Is stuck to it.I had lot of uncles and aunts advising me against it

Ur like Anandi then😉...she decided about being a teacher since the time she was 8...ur even better actually

Yeah there are many hu dont make it in first attempt and then get stuck...thank god i got done with it in one shot - I dont have it in me to give the same exam again and again - I would lose confidence...

generally in the final year people get stuck...problem is that there is no right answer to the questions...ur logic has to match with the logic of the examiner...if he/ she is good with it - they'll give u the marks or not
