Night view is breathtaking...have u by any chance been to a place called 18th Drive?
Its south of downtown...18th st exit. Its one of the best views of the skyline!!

Polly I love Chicago for restaurants, very good different cuisines. Used to visit atleast once in a year my SIL lives there but not now.

Yeah good restaurants witth pretty nice views. I make sure visit downtown restaurants everytime I come Chicago.

That place is my fav place for view of the skyline (& special too)! I think the fireworks pic u posted is from that pov!
