But I have to say he is behaving exactly like an obsessive lover does in films. Obsessive lovers would run amok in their destructive or killing sprees but would immediately slow down and turn to pulp at sight of the beloved they couldn't have.
Poor Raavan...kuch bhi ho...I felt bad for him in this episode at least.
He can break rudrakshas or get rid of Shivling but can't erase bhakti/devotion/love/obsession of Shiva from his heart. Instinctively he comes still in front of Mahadev and stands in reverence or amazement even if he pretends to hide behind cloak of anger!
