CHAPTER – 11
Sameer and Indira returned home.On seeing them,Simi asked,"Kaha gaye the tum dono?"Sameer remained mum and tried to search for an answer.Indira replied,"Vo ma hum…hum thora bahaar hawa khaane gaye the."Simi came to her and saw Indira's face was pale and her eyes were swollen.She asked,"Tu ro rahi thi?"Indira forcibly smiled and replied,"N-nehi ma.Kaisi baate kar rahi ho aap?Actually bahaar thori si chaat khaali thi na,to vo teekha bohot tha isiliye aakho se paani aa gaya."Simi was not satisfied with the answer,but still she didn't stretch it and changed the topic.She said,"Achcha ab ja Palak ke paas,mamma kaha hai,mamma kaha hai puch puch kar paagal karke rakkha hua hai."Indira nodded her head and she left from there.Sameer was also about to leave but Simi stopped her and said,"Mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai Sameer."Sameer looked at her.Simi came to him an put her hand on his head and said,"Peechle 4 saalo se maine tujhse dhang se baat bhi nehi ki hai na beta.Iam sorry."Sameer stared at her for a long time and he had tears in his eyes.He held her hand and replied,"Nehi mom apki koi galti nehi hai.Maine kaam hi aisa kiya tha ke mujhe to sazaa milni hi thi."He hugged his mother.
While going to his room,he found Indira was sitting with Palak and Palak was showing her drawings.He entered inside and asked,"Saari drawings sirf mamma ko hi aur papa ko?"Palak replied,"Aap kitna late aate ho office se papa,main kya karu?Ghar mein to tab sirf mamma hi rehti hai."Sameer sat with Palak on his lap and said,"Achcha ab dikhao ke papa ke pari ne kya drawing banaayi hai."She showed him a drawing and in it there were two big figures and one small figure.One big figure was with male attire and the other one was with female attire and the small one was with a frock.The small one was holding the hands of both the big one.Palak said,"Ye papa hai,ye mamma hai aur vo main hu.Ekdam happy family ke tarah hai na?"Sameer and Indira exchanged looks with each other.Indira raised her arms and said,"Aaja mamma ke paas aaja."Palak went to her.Indira kissed on her cheeks and said,"To mera mitthhoo,happy kya hum to no.1 family hai kyuki tumhaare papa bohot achche hai,mamma bhi thori thori achchi hai aur Palak to sabse achchi hai aur hum sab saath hai aur hum abse hamesha saath rahenhge ekdam dusre mamma papa jaise.Ok?"Palak asked,"To phir aap dono pehle ek dusre se baat kyu nehi karte the?"Sameer and Indira both felt a bit awkward and Sameer replied,"Vo na mamma aur mere beech mein jhagra ho gaya tha to dono ne ek dusre se katti kar lit hi,jaise Palak ka school mein kisise jhagra hota hai to vo karti hai na bilkul vaise.Ab hum dono mein waapas friendship ho gayi hai."Palak happily asked,"To kya ab main bhi aap dono ke saath raat ko beech mein soungi?"Sameer became speechless,but Indira replied,"Bilkul,mera mitthhoo mamma,papa ke beech mein soyegi."Sameer looked at her with jerk and found her smiling meaningfully.Palak asked,"Par agar papa ke bed par jagah nehi hui to?"Indira replied,"To papa bed ke bahaar soyenge aur hum dono bed par."Both giggled and hearing this,Sameer too laughed out.
When everyone was asleep,Indira came to Sameer's room and found that he was not at all sleeping.On seeing her,he was tensed.He asked,"Kya hua,itni raat gaye tum yaha?"She replied,"Nehi neend nehi aa rahi thi isiliye chali aayi."Both remained quiet for sometime.She broke the silence and asked,"Tumhe Raunaq ke baare mein pehli baar kab pata chala tha?"Sameer replied,"Jab tumne mujhe pehli baar uske baare mein bola tha,maine tabhi soch liya tha ke main tumhaare khushiyo ke raaste se hat jaaunga,par phir mera dil kiya ke main us khushkismat insaan ke baare mein jaanu jise tumne pyar kiya.Isiliye maine Raunaq ke baare mein pata lagaana shuru kiya,usi dauraan mujhe uski sachchaai pata chali.Sach jaanne ke baad main kisi bhi keemat par tumhe us jallaad ke haatho sauna nehi chahta tha isiliye…isiliye usdin adha sach aur adha jhut bolkar maine is shaadi ko manzoori de di kyuki main itna to samajh hi chuka tha ke tum uske pyar mein itni paagal thi ke tum uske saath bhaag kar shaadi bhi kar sakti hio.Main chahta tha ke shaadi ke baad tumhe sab sach bataaunga par maine dekha ke tum mujhse kitna nafrat karti ho.tab maine socha ke jab dheere dheere tumhaara gussa shaant hoga main tumhse sach bolunga kyuki uswaqt mere paas nahi koi saboot tha aur naahi tum mujhpar bharosa karti,isiliye maine sahi waqt ka intezaar kiya par…par isi beech mujhse ek aisa gunaah hua jisne hum sabki zindagi badal di."Sameer looked with painful eyes towards Indira.She said,"Main tumhe aajtak apni zindagi bachaane ke liye kosti rahi?Kitni badnaseeb hu main.Apni khushaal zindagi ko apne hi haatho se barbaad karna chaha maine.Meri zindagi kya ho sakti thi aur maine isko kya bana diya."sameer and Indira both had repentful tears in their eyes.Indira wiped her tears and then said,"Kuch galtiya maine bhi ki aur kuch tumne aur apni galti ki saza bhi hume mili hai par humse kahi zyaada hamaari beti ko."Sameer nodded his head.She got up and sat more close to him and said,"Ab main apni galti ko sudhaarna chahti hu."He looked at her.She continued,"Main ro kar,dukhi rehkar thak chuki hu Sameer.Ab main khush rehna chahti hu.Tumhe pata hai jab mujhe Raunaq ki sachchai pata chali to mujhe dukh se zyaada kahi na kahi bohot khushi mili,ek sukoon mila ye soch kar ki ab main azaad hu,ab main apne asli rishte se jurne ke liye puri tarah se tayyar hu."She held his hand and replied,"Main ab apne pati aur apni beti ke saath ek khushaal zindagi bitaana chahti hu.Apni beti ko,tumhe aur apne aap ko saari khushiya dena chahti hu.I want to be happy with you Sameer.Mujhe apnaaoge na?Mujhe khush rakkhoge na.Main hasna chahti hu Sameer,jaise pehle hasa karti thi."Sameer looked at her with utter disbelief.He slowly cupped her face and said,"Main tumhe apnaaunga ya nehi ab sawaal ye nehi hai,ab sawaal ye hai ke maine jo kiya kya uske baad tum mujhe apnaaogi?"Indira kissed on his hands and replied,"Main beeti saari baato ko usidin bhul chuki thi jisdin maine tumhaare taraf dosti ka haath baraaya tha.Maine tumhe usidin accept kar liya tha.Main ab tumhaara haath pakar ke aagey barna chahti hu."Sameer kissed on her hands and said,"I love you Indira and I have always loved you."She joined her head with him and said,"I love you too Sameer."Sameer felt like achieved everything in this world the moment,Indira uttered those three magical words.He hugged her tightly.She too did the same thing.He broke the hug after a long time.He just forwarded to kiss her when,Indira stopped her and said,"Nehi Sameer.Mujhse nehi hoga.Us raat ke baad ek raat bhi main chain se so nehi paayi,ye dubaara mujhse nehi hoga."She was about to leave but Sameer grabbed her hand and said,"Aaj mat jaao Indira,aaj ek raat mujhe de do.Aaj agar gayi to zindagi bhar vo raat tumhe sataayegi.Main vaada karta hu ke aaj ki raat main itni yaadgaar banaaunga ke us khaufnaak raat ki ek bhi nishaani nehi rahegi tumhaare zindagi mein.Vo raat phir kabhi lautkar tumhaari zindagi mein waapas nehi aayegi.I promise."Indira stopped and looked at him with teary eyes.Sameer got up from the bed and locked the door from inside.
Next day,early morning,Indira opened her eyes and found that,she was sleeping in Sameer's arms.After a few moment,she was accustomed within her environment,she looked around her and her eyes fall on the ground where her suit and jewelleries were gathered in heap.She remembered about the last night,where Sameer did really give her a beautiful memory,by lovingly making love to her.She smiled at herself and pulled the blanket more over her.She looked at Sameer who was still sleeping in peace.She was about to cuddle more at her,when she heard Palak knocking outside and calling Sameer's name.She looked at the clock and found it was already late.She called Sameer,"Sameer!Sameer utho,bahaar Palak bula rahi hai."He woke up and was about to go to open the door,but Indira scolded,"Kya kar rahe ho?Aisi haalat mein jaaoge?"Sameer bit his tongue and both immediately changed and then Sameer opened the door.Palak looked at him with scared face and said,"Pata hai papa,mamma na…"Just then her eyes fall on Indira.She immediately went to her and hugged her by her waist and said,"Pata hai mamma main aapke room mein gayi thi par aap mujhe nehi mili,mujhe laga aap mujhe chorkar chali gayi."Indira picked up Palak in her arms and pampered her and said,"Arey nehi mera mitthhoo,mamma tumhe chorkar kaha jaayegi beta…"Palak asked,"To aap papa ke room par kya kar rahe the?"Indira blushed looking at Sameer and replied,"Vo Palak ko mamma papa ke saath sona hai na to isiliye,mamma papa milkar Palak ke is room mein sone ki tayyari kar rahe the.Usme time lagta hai na,phir bohot raat ho gayi aur mamma papa dono ko neend aa gayi,to vo yehi so gaye."Palak was convinced.She said,"Abse main yehi soungi."Sameer gave a worried look and Indira agreed.
In the dining hall,Indira was sitting in the middle of Palak and Sameer.She was feeding Palak and Sameer whispered in her ears,"Ab Palak ke papa ki baari hai."Indira smiled at him and then called Simi,"Ma aapke bete ko na jalan ho rahi hai ke Palak ki ma usey khilaati hai par meri ma nehi."Sameer glared at her.Simi came and said,"Aww mere bete ko ma ke haath se khaana hai.Chal khila deti hu."Sameer gave a helpless smile to Simi and then glared at Indira who was constantly giggling.After having the breakfast,Indira packed their lunch.While Palak was running to the car,Indira stopped her and leaned towards her and asked,"Palak kya bhul rahi hai?"Palak then slapped on her head and then kissed on her cheek and said,"Bye mamma!"Indira waved her hand and then Sameer came near her and said,"Par Palak ke papa nehi bhule."He kissed on Indira's cheek by hugging her.She said,"Koi dekh lega choro mujhe."At that moment,Simi came and said,"Bhagwaan kare ke mere bete aur bahu ko kisiki nazar na lage."Indira and Sameer immediately leaved each other.She came to them and said,"Tum dono Palak ko jhut bolkar samjha sakte ho par mujhe nehi.Apni nayi zindagi ki shuruwaat ke liye tum dono ko meri taraf se badhaaiya."She put her hand on both their heads and said,"Hamesha isi tarah se khush raho.Aaj sahi maayne mein meri Palak ko uske ma baap mil gaye."She blessed them.
In the evening,when Sameer returned from office,he opened the wardrobe in his room.He was shocked to find sarees,suits and other ladies accessories in the wardrobe.Indira said from his back,"Vo kya hai,maine apna saara samaan bedroom mein shift kar li hai aur tumhaare chote se wardrobe mein manage bhi kar liya hai."Sameer said,"Arey vaah,puri biwi ban gayi ho lagta hai."She asked,"Tumhe koi shaq hai?"He replied,"Darwaaza lock kardo,phir saare shak dur kar dunga."He was trying to kiss her and said,"Palak ke naughty papa,pehle to bari sharif bana karte the,dinbadin naughty shaughty bante ja rahe ho."He said,"Vo to jo 4 saalo mein nehi dekha aapne,bas vohi aapko dikhaane ki koshish kar raha hu Palak ki mummy,bas ek mauka to dijiye."Indira freed herself from his arms and said,"Khaane pe chalo,sab intezaar kar rahe hai."Saying she left and Sameer planned of taking the revenge of the morning at night.After dinner,when he returned,to his utmost disappointment,he found Palak was sleeping in their bed.He found,Indira was combing her hair in front of the dressing table.He angrily asked,"Is tarah se tumhe mere armaano ka khoon karte huye sharam nehi aayi?"She replied,"Chee kuch to sharam karo,beti hai hamaari."He made a face to Indira and then lied down on his bed hugging Palak.Indira too returned to the bed and slept by Palak's side.When Sameer was quiet in a deep sleep,Palak opened her eyes and then winked at Indira.After that,both of them together pushed Sameer so hard that he fall down making a hard sound.He almost screamed loudly,"Ouch!Haaye re meri kamar toot gayi!"Palak and Indira laughed out loud and Palak said,"Papa bed se geer gaye!Yeaaa!"Sameer putting his hand on his back somehow got up and asked,"Ye idea kiska tha by the way?"Indira replied,"Hum dono ka."Sameer put his hand on his waist and said,"Achcha!Wait!"He picked up the pillow and hit on indira and after that both Palak and Sameer laughed out loud.Indira then became angry and then beat him with her pillow.As a result,the joke turned out to be a huge pillow fighting between the trio.
