CHAPTER – 10

Sameer took Indira to a very cheap hotel.On seeing the hotel,Indira understood that it doesn't have a good reputation.She asked Sameer,"Tum mujhe aise jagah par kyu lekar aaye ho?"He replied,"Aaj tumhe tumhaare saare sawaalo ke jawaab mil jaayenge."He stopped in front of the reception counter and said to the man,"Hume is hotel ka sabse expensive room chahiye."The man looked at him from head to toe and said,"Kapro se to sahaab aap khaandaani lagte ho,phir aise hotel mein?"The man looked at Indira in a very ugly way.Indira felt very uncomfortable.Sameer grinned to control his anger.The man asked,"Item to bohot achchi hai sahab,ekdum fresh.Vaise kitne ghanto ke liye chahiye kamra?"Sameer made a fist to stop himself not to break his head.Indira became confused at Sameer's behavior.He made a cool face and replied,"Jitna bhi rate hoga banaakar rakhna,jaate waqt hisaab pura kar dunga."The man gave a meaningful smile and called one of the staffs to show them their room.The staff's name was Raghu.Indira followed Sameer silently.When they reached in front of their room,Sameer stopped the man and asked,"Vo jo har Tuesday ko room no.703 par jo aadmi aate hai,aaj bhi vo aane waale hai na?"Raghu replied,"Ha ha sir vo har Tuesday ko aate hai aur aaj bhi aayenge.Vo to hamaare regular customer hai aur aapko pata hai saab unke saath har baar ek nayi larki aati hai."Sameer replied,"Jaanta hu,isiliye to pucha hai.Ab bolo vo kab aayenge?"Raghu suspiciously said,"Vo main aapko kyu bolu?Hum yaha ek customer ki baat dusre ko nehi bataate."Sameer took out a bundle of note from his pocket and said,"Agar bologe to isse bhi zyaada milenge."Raghu's eyes glittered with greed.He took the notes and replied,"Ha ha zarur,unka aane ka waqt ho gaya hai."Sameer gave another bundle of note and said,"Hume us kamre mein jaana hai.Fikar mat karo,tumhe kuch nehi hoga.Bas hume andar jaane do,main isse double dunga,par ha is baare mein agar kisike saamne muh khola to..."Raghu took the money and said,"Arey saab aap bilkul fikar mat kijiye,meri zabaan bilkul pakki hai.Chaliye main aapko lekar chalta hu."Sameer and Indira followed him to that room.

On reaching the room,as instructed by Sameer,after they entered,Raghu locked the door from outside.Sameer and Indira hid inside the washroom.Indira asked,"Bohot der se tumhaari harkate dekh rahi hu ab zara bologe ke ye kya ho raha hai?"Sameer stared at her for some time and replied,"Tumne hamesha mujhe kosa,bura bhala kaha,par main tumhe aajtak kabhi ye nehi bol paaya ke maine tumse shaadi kyu ki,kyuki tab mere paas koi saboot nehi tha aur agar main kehta bhi to tum mere baat par kabhi bharosa nehi karti.Isliye main tumhaare zindagi ki sabse karvi sachchai jo tumhaari zindagi barbaad kar sakti thi aaj usse rubaru karaane ja raha hu jiske baare mein tum kabhi sapne mein bhi nehi soch sakti."Indira asked,"Kya matlab?"Sameer replied,"Just wait and watch aur ha chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye,awaaz mat nikaalna."At that moment,they heard someone opened the door.Sameer asked Indira to stay quiet and just to see everything quietly.To Indira's bad luck or extreme good luck or whatever it is,the man who entered was none other than Raunaq,the man whom Indira loved with all her heart.It appeared as if Indira's voice had died off right there.She was watching everything peeping from inside the washroom.Raunaq came with a girl inside.The girl asked,"Raunaq hum yaha kyu aaye hai?"He replied,"Maine tumse kaha tha na ke maine tumhaare naukri ka intezaam kar diya hai aur aaj main tumhe yaha kuch logo se milwaane laaya hu."The girl's name was Rano.She said,"Par yeh jagah bohot ajeeb hai Raunaq."He replied,"Tum mujhpar bharosa to karti ho na?Ab un logo ne yehi bulaaya hai to hum kya kar sakte hai.Ek baar agar tumhaara bio-data unhe pasand aa jaaye to dekhna tum kaha se kaha pohoch jaati ho."Rano cupped his face and replied,"Mujhe tumpar apne aap se bhi zyaada bharosa hai Raunaq kyuki main tumse bohot pyar karti hu.I love you."Raunaq hugged her and replied,"I love you too."Indira was about to fall with shock but Sameer controlled her.He whispered,"Thehro abhi aur bohot kuch baaki hai."Outside,Raunaq said,"Ek kaam karo tum fresh main tabtak unko call karke puchta hu vo log kab aayenge."Saying he went outside and Rano slowly walked towards the washroom.

After some time,Raunaq came inside and found Rano sitting on the bed.She asked,"Kya hua?"He replied,"Vo log aa rahe hai."After almost half an hour,some men came inside.They were asked to sit.Raunaq,on showing them Rano asked,"To kaisi lagi aapko?"The man stood up and came towards Rano.He put his hands on her shoulders and said,"Bohot achchi hai.Bilkul jaisi hume chahiye thi."Raunaq asked,"To kya keemat denge aap mujhe iski?"Rano confusingly asked,"Kaisi keemat?"Raunaq replied,"Tumhaari keemat.Ye jo maine tumhe apne jaal mein phasaaya,itni mehnat ki tumhe yaha laane mein,uski keemat."Rano gave him an disbelieve look and asked,"Kya bakwaas kar rahe ho tum Raunaq?"Raunaq patted on her cheek and said,"Ye bakwaas nehi hai sach hai sweetheart.Mera ek business hai,yaha ki bholi bhaali larkio ko phasaakar unhe bahaar ke desho mein bech dena.Main yehi kaam karta hu.Tumse pehle bhi maine kayi larkio ko phasaaya hai aur unki life banaayi hai.Tumhe bhi kehta hu,meri baat maan jaao dekh lena aish karogi aish."Rano slapped him and said,"Main kabhi soch bhi nehi sakti thi ke tum itne ghatiya insaan nikloge.Unlogo ne mujhse kaha tha par maine unki baato ka vishwaas nehi kiya."Raunaq confusingly asked,"Kin logo ne kaha tha?""Maine kaha tha."Sameer came out of the washroom.Raunaq asked,"Kaun ho tum aur yaha andar kaise aaye?"Sameer replied,"That is not the important issue my dear.Asli baat ye hai,ke aaj tum fail ho gaye aura b tum seedha jail jaaoge."Raunaq took out his gun and pointed on Sameer's face and said,"Mera kya hoga nehi pata par zinda to aaj tum nehi bachoge."The moment,he was about to pull the trigger,police banged the door and entered inside.They arrested everyone.Sameer said,"Raunaq,tumse milne tumhaari ek bohot puraani dost aayi hai,jaane se pehle usey milna nehi chahoge?"Sameer looked inside the washroom and Indira came out from inside.Her eyes were covered with tears and she was taking deep breath out of anger.Sameer said,"Maine yaha aane se pehle hi police ko inform kar diya tha aur Rano ko bhi samjha diya tha kya karna hai."On seeing,Indira,Raunaq wanted to say something,but Indira gave a tight slap on his face.She pulled his collar and said,"Maine tumhe kya samjha aur tum kya nikle Raunaq.Kitna pyar karti thi main tumse aur tumne…tumne mere saath pyar ka naatak kiya.Tumne mujhe bechne ki…"She gave a disgusted look to him and continued,"Tumhaari vajah se maine peechle 5 saalo mein apne pati,apne gharwaalo ko kitna dukh diya.Hamesha sochti rahi ke mera pati jallaad hai,tumhaare har kiye ki sazaa main usey deti rahi.Kya kuch nehi kaha maine usko par usne aaj tak kuch nehi bola.Tumhaare vajah se narak jaisi zindagi bitaayi hai maine aur tumhaare hi vajah se maine 4 saalo tak apni phool jaisi bachchi ko chua tak nehi.Everything is because of you Raunaq!Aaj jab sochti hu ke agar meri shaadi na hui hoti to mere saath kya ho sakta tha to meri rooh kaap jaati hai."She said to the police officer, "Aap is aadmi ko kari se kari saza dilvaaiyega."She wiped her tears and said to Raunaq,"By the way,tumhaari is harkat ke vajah se ek baat achchi hui ke ab main puri tarah se aur puri imaandaari se apni shaadi ko nibhaaungi,apne pati aur apni beti ke saath ek khushhaal zindagi bitaaungi.Thank you so much for that."Saying she and Rano left from there.

The police took everyone with them and sealed the hotel.Rano also thanked Sameer and left for home.While the police were pouring them on the jeep,Sameer stopped them and went towards the manager of the hotel.He gave a hard punch on his face and said,"Ye jo item hai na meri biwi hai aur mere bachche ki ma.Dil to kar raha tha ke usiwaqt teri zabaan kaat du par phir maine socha ke policewaalo ka kaam main kyu karu."The police jeep drove away.He came to Indira who was still crying.He put his hand on her shoulder and said,"Main jaanta tha ye sach tumhe jaanne par biilkul bhi achcha nehi lagega,isiliye main bolna nehi chahta tha.Khair…ab to sab kuch jaan hi chuki ho.Chalo ghar chalte hai,sab intezaar kar rahe honge aur Palak ke khaane ka bhi time ho gaya hai na.Let's go."Indira without uttering anything,went with him towards the car.
