In these times, no educated girl would put up with this. But for centuries women have had to  tolerate such atrocities and more! Just going by that legacy, I would say every woman deserves a Suraj.  Edited by Deebz - 10 years ago

Actually I know a couple of gals who are a lot tougher than Sandhya.  They study, work, have children and continue to juggle family responsibility quite skillfully...unlike Sandhya who can pretty much do one or the other at one time. Edited by ummesulaiman - 10 years ago

I've seen a husband like suraj supportive towards wife's education even though he is less educated...I've also seen DIL like sandhya who is very patient with mother in law despite the taunts and rants...but NEVER seen a couple with this combination😆

Ha ha..!!! I laughed for a while after reading your thread... Well said...!!! To be very honest neither Suraj nor Sandy is an ideal person I would like to follow their every step... Some of their qualities inspire me but not their whole character...!!! What's the point of being sacrificial for unnecessary reasons?? Does it made them a better person...!!! 🤔 A big NO at least in my point of view...!!! Do their sacrifices inspire me??? Hell no...!!! 👎🏼 So.. I don't know about girls like Sandy but I have seen guys who r supportive towards their wives n also stand up against forces who humiliate n scold their wives for no reason which Suraj doesn't..!!! So...
