Hello everyone!! Hope you are doing well. 😃 I am sure you all have noticed that our forum appears very quiet and dull these days, and it has also been some weeks since we played our last GOTW. So to add some life and colour to the forum, I have decided to take the initiative this time.
HDians, let's get ready for the next GOTW, which is called...
Translate It...
The game really is as simple as it sounds. 😉
One person will put forth a word or phrase in English, and the next person will have to give the Hindi translation of that word or phrase. Very easy, right? 😃 Let me give an example:
Player 1: Book
Player 2: Kitab...Next: beautiful
Player 3: Khubsurat...and so on
This game certainly will benefit those of us who are not perfectly steady in Hindi (e.g. the so-called "firangis"). 😆 You can make it as difficult as you wish for the next person by choosing a tricky word. 😃 And remember, looking up in a dictionary will be regarded as cheating. 😉 😆
Hope you all will enjoy this game, which is more or less an introductory class in Hindi. 😆 😆
Let me start the game with the word "chair".
P.S. I have not taken any mod's permission to make this thread. Hopefully there won't be any issues, as the mods are altogether on vacation or whatever. 😆
