"What should I wear for party?"kriya asked..
Rey looked up at kriya from newspaper he scratched his chin before shrugging his shoulders.. kriya frowned n say "Rey.. should I wear this blue outfit or black one?
"Black..it will suit for u more" rey answeed
"Thank u", she planted a soft kiss on his cheek
"Mei change karke aati hoon" She kissed him again before flashing him a huge smile and leaving the kitchen to go upstairs. Rey waited until he heard the door to her bedroom close shut before he put the newspaper down and pushed himself away from the table.
Rey poured himself a glass of whiskey from the drinks cabinet in the living room, he took his glass and placed it on the counter while he leaned against the wall taking a deep breath. He hated keeping up this pretense of being in love with Kriya, hell he had been frightened when Kriya lost her memory almost 2 months ago, she didn't remember Rey's name but when he told his name was Rey and her name was Kriya, she saw the heart necklace with "KR" engraved around her neck and suddenly had the insane noton that she was in love with Rey and he loved her back.
How could he be in love with the girl who his brother had loved? But the doctor had informed that any news relating to the accident n kriya's past could result in her becoming seriously ill n even leads to death.. , now Rey may have not loved her like she thought but he still cared for her, and he knew, if Rohan was watching down on him then he would have wanted him to go along with what Kriya said.
And that's what exactly Rey did..,he rearranged everything in his home to makeit look live they lived der together, he took all her clothes from Rohan's room n getting rid of all pictures of kriya n rohan,he put all the things in a box n kept it in rohan's room n locked it..then he took out some old pictures of him n kriya n placed them in various rooms in the house.. in short he get rid of every things which give a hint of kriya n rohan's relation..
When he braught kriya to his home.. he was quite scared thinking maybe she would recognise something, so he was on his toes all the time, the hardest thing had been keeping Kria away from
Rohan's room.. many a times she asked him about dat locked room n sometimes she even approached towards dat room bt to his luck he reached her on time n distracted her with something else.. bt soon kriya understood there was something in dat room which rey didn't want kriya to see. So she herself stayed away from there..
The next hardest had been when Kriya would try and come close to Rey, he couldn't blame her after all she did think they were in love, so it was obvious she would want to spend time with him, at first he made various excuses saying she wasn't 100% or he had some other work to do, but slowly he realised he shouldn't be doing that so he began spending time with her, hugging her, kissing her forehead and cheeks, bt he know what she wanted'she wanted something more.. sometimes she came more close reaching up to his lips bt he wasn't ready for that..
He gulped down the whiskey.. damn that truck driver who crushed Rohan's car, it was hard enough losing rohan and on top of that Kriya losing her memory, now it was like he was losing himself.. he went to washroom n splashed some water on his face n dried himself with a towel..

Kriya slipped into the black halter neck dress, she tried to reach behidn to zip it up but all in vain, she called out for rey who came into the room wearing the white suit Kriya had picked out with a light pink shirt and a matching tie, Kriya grinned to herself, he looked gorgeous, he had the top button to his shirt open, not enough to reveal skin but it had a sense of style.
"Rey could you zip ma dress up?"
Kriya turned her back towards him, rey breathed deeply as he walked across the room to Kriya, he held the zip hook in one hand while placing his other hand on her bare shoulder, he carefully zipped it up and Kriya let her hair flow loosely on her shoulders, she turned around to face him to catch his reaction, he smiled cheekily..
"you look gorgeous" he leaned down and kissed her cheek before grabbing his watch from the table, he handed her jacket to her then escorted her out of the house..
Then they sat in his car n drove to the venue..after a long drive, they reached at their destination..
It was kriya's best friend neha's son's first b'day..
Neha greeted them both at the door while holding her son ansh in her arms, rey hugged neha n rey took ansh from her arms and giving him a sloppy kiss, Kria handed neha the gift she had bought for ansh , before she gave her a hug'
"arjun kahan hai sharon"rey asked while kissing ansh
" He is here somewhere..n we are about to cut the cake"
Neha took ansh from rey's hand n handed him to kriya
"Kriya, could you take him to arjun"kriya nodded n took him..
When Kriya was out of sight, meera held rey's arm and took him to the bar and handed it him drink, he threw it immediately, she touched his hand
"how is she?"
"how can she be? she's in a dream world, and I'm jumping from her dream world to reality and back again, its killing me Meera"
Meera squeezed his hands.. kriya n Meera were best friends from kg classes itself.. .Meera had met rey almost 2 years ago when Kriya had introduced her to rohan and he had invited her over for dinner. Her and rey had gotten along well and beccame best of friends and after Kriya's accident and rohan's death, Meera had been the one rey turned to for comfort and advice, which sharon had given so willingly.
Rey plastered a fake smile while standing next to kriya as cake was cut, she casually slipped her arm around rey's waist, he closed his eyes and breathed deeply before slipping his arm around her shoulders and bringing her closer, he mentally thanked sharon when she dragged Kripa off to dance..n he headed outside for some fresh air..

They reached back their home..rey let out a sigh n lay on the sofa.. he loosened his tie and threw it onto the chair and did the same with his jacket, he began undoing his buttons when Kriya hugged him from behind.. rey allowed her to stay that way for a brief moment before moving her hands away. Kriya looked up at him and frowned, rey smiled
"I'm tired, Kriya, lets just sleep ok babe?"
She smiled at him n leaned forward n kissed him on his cheek..then she went to washroom after a hot shower she came back wearing her night clothes..Rey had also changed into a pair of pyjamas and a t shirt, he lay in bed and closed his eyes, Kriya slipped in next to him and wrapped her arm around his chest, rey held her hand in his and squeezed lightly.. kriya kissed on his forehead as he fell asleep..she looked at him sleeping.. it was innocent yet something was der in him which was nt familiar by her.. but whateva it is she was happy with the way things were, she had rey beside her, that's all that mattered right now.
Kriya woke at the sound of rey's voice and the movement of him tossing and turning, she switched on the bedside lamp and looked at the clock, it was 3am, she looked over at rey who was mumbling in his sleep, n sweating very badly. he was having another nightmare, she shook him but rey continued to mumble away..
"REY'." She shouted..
She shook him n he jerked up n his breathing became heavy..he looked around n saw kriya next to him..he hugged her tightly..n rested his hed on her lap.. she slightly stroked his hair..soon he fell asleep again..kriya lay back beside him..he was still clutched on to her..
This is not the first time rey havin a nighmare n shouted a name.."ROHAN"
She wanted to know who it is? Somewhere it sounded familiar'
She decided to ask him about this in the next morning'
