yesterday's surya hug provoked me to post this thread

right from singapore surya have been close to each other

in fact surya was bold enough to say wo ai ni only when sandy tried to hug him in the semifinals but out of shyness she couldnt

let me list out the surya hugs ( please let me know if i have missed)

1 WTC hotel corridor ( sandy wishing all the best and Hug

)

2 aug 29 ( there was a hug from behind from suraj)

3 sandy packing to leave for ankur's house ( hug from sandy)

4 ankurs house both missing each other ( hug from sandy)

5 park with suraj assuring sandy to make her IPS ( hug from sandy)

6f first day of night college before leaving ( hug from sandy)

7 first anniversary cake cutting ( hug from sandy0

8 yesterday after the sagaayi of momily ( hug (twice) from sandy)

i am not counting how many hugs but in all these scenes it has been sandy who is initiating the hug. she is impressed by surajs deeds , his support , his love for her, his dedication to her, his determination to make her dream come true. she is happy to have him in hils life.

it is a sort of saying thanks for being with me , appreciation of his hard work to make her happy

she is giving back by hugging.

i always wonder why didnt suraj intiate any hug. is he not happy with her or rather has sandy ever made him feel happy , so that out of joy without his knowledge he staright away hugs her ( that is what being happening in sandy's case)

should we take it as sandy has not impressed him with her deeds or is he expecting something else to be done by her ( ips) to impress him

dont know about husband wife relationship (dont dare to talk about it after yesterday ) but I agree hug is a type appreciation...it also shows how close you are to the person in this context...

regarding suraj, he has promised he will not do anything to distract sandhya, he is keeping his words

Heyyy u have missed the recent one in masa's village when Suraj gave the necklace to Sandynd there was also another emotional hug from suraj side after the terrosist track when sandhya survived nd in WTC track there were lot of hugs aftr their confession nd also thr was hug when they were returning from Christmas Party for now i remeber this much only

now after reading above comments..

v can say most hugs r initiated by sandy not suraj..suraj hugged sandy after bomb blast...

tuhina...no sandy only hugged suraj in necklace scene...

ohhh i thought u were talking about both of their hugs

neways but in that terrorist track when suraj saw sandy is alive at that time it was an emotional hug from suraj

Rama ji u'r right. Mostly it is Sandy who hugs Sooraj first out of happiness, delight 2 convey her thanks; when she's overwhelmed by his actions. Its seldom romantic when she hugs him. When Sandy gets romantic she expresses her romance by teasing or pulling his leg 4rm a distance. Its mostly playful ( the 'rumal' game, haldi romance in village).

But when Sooraj gets romantic he hugs her 4rm behind ( this happened on Aug 29th, nd when Sandy was leaving 4 Ankur's house ). But if u remember Sooraj had hugged her 1st twice. The hug after d bus accident, and d one after d bomb blast; he was relieved 2 find her alive on both d occasions.
Now dat he is keeping his promise, he doesn't get 2 romantic. Nd Sandy is always touched by his gestures.

So we can conclude dat none of them r feeling romantic towards each other. Sleepy

"Anatomy" of SurYa hugs ….

Until the end of DABH we will get all types of hugs...hope so!
