Harshad Chopda# 89 FC:17th May'13*Countdown Begins

Wait !!!!!

Umm , so 17^th May is knocking at d door, indeed very near . ohh no, till the time 16^th may arrives, there would b butterflies in d stomach, brain loaded with fantasies , di's orders, granny's scoldings on being a kaamchor, silk's constant chant on kab ayega, kab ayega, nd as soon as d day arrives we all certainly get loaded with extra energy, and as clock ticks near 2-3 pm, heartbeats become 75 beats per mins, with the darn hope and excitement that omg Harshu is gonna cut d cake, pata nahi kaha, but since last time we saw him cutting d cake, so some how dil ka connection knows that he might be cutting it and enjoying it this time also. So this is how we all , the HC fans to be particular , spend our first 17 days of the month of May.

This year its no different than the last year, everyone is going through the same excitement, but slightly fearing also, as every year we remain assure of seeing our Hero with his birthday cake on the sets of his shows. On the contrary this year he is being on a break,  even though we r unsure of seeing him, still we know how he will smile, and how will his face glow when he will get to see his birthday cake .

The first time we lucky souls came to know that 17^th May was Harshad's birthday, was back in 2008. Do not know about the craze back then, because that was the beginning of the pagalpan days, but we can ensure that with every passing year, we are losing our sanity more and more and this year apparently its at its peak . And how come so fast 365 days passed ??.. aisa lagta hain it was just before two days when we had seen Harshad in his purple tee , sitting with his birthday cake and enjoying at a corner while SBS covered it. *Sigh* None of us hold the same excitement during our own birthdays even, what we go through during his birthday.

Concurrently, 5 years of name, fame, glory and fangiri ( and I don't mean Harshad is 5 years, its about his fangiri), and still feeling and going through the same joy and enthuasiasm is surely only because of the man himself. Neither he would be such a kickass actor and nor we would be helpless in being his fans, neither he would surprise and win us with each of his onscreen roles and nor we would become more and more addicted to him on our screens.

I do not know that I should be proud to say this or hesitate to say this, but yes Harshad Chopda seems the only source of entertaintment and oxygen in our lives, without him life is too boring and our TV sets boil our blood .

Going through the memories !!!

2008

This year has to be special in many senses. Firstly, Harshad won his first ever award on his birthday, and not one, indeed two awards. This isn't only memorable for us but also him. It still mesmerizes us and makes us proud to see him sharing his happiness with us and getting his deserved applause. This year, many of us first time saw him cutting the cake and sharing with the fans, on the sets of his show Kis desh mein hai mera dil .

The segment was 2 minutes and some seconds only, but still is afresh in our memories.

2009

Eeks !! My hero turned 26 that year . This segment had to be the bestest amongst all of his birthday segments. Finally, it was the time for us to know something about his family and loved ones. Harshad gets candid with his fans and introduces them with his family members. Not only that, he also cuts the cake made by his sister in front of the camera and shares loads of memories with us. It was more than a treat for his fans, to see him happy and relaxed, being with his family and celebrating the special day with them away from the sets of his show.

worst year ever in terms of his birthday. pata nahi where the heck was he hiding?waise tou we know hiding is not a adaat but his beemari, but hiding on the very birthday of his is still undigestable by our intestines. Upar se, that time we all were going crazy for pagal ONu as Tere liye was about to launch, so some of us also defended him probably becos they thought he wanted to keep his pagal ONU look as a surprise. But that also sounded illiogical, cos pagal ONU also started hiding after the damn 1st episode. But yayyy, i think we got the bonus, on 17th Feb 2011 for this session of hiding, he not only did cut the cake onscreen, but in pagal ONU avatar, and also ate them. Kuch sapne poorey tou hotey hain, but aise hongey pata nahi tha .. 

2011

 " phoonkna haa, thookna nahi"

Yes exactly, this line of Anupriya ( Harshad's coactress) , still cracks me up. Only segment where we actually saw Harshad at his best, jumping, playing, craving for the cake, doing masti and yepp also showering his love on Muzammil ( Harshad's very close friend and director). If Muzammil gifted Harshad his heart, then the reporter was also no less, she gives him a rose and to polish it more Anupriya gifted him a "bhootiya scooter".

Best part was how his face glowed and instant smile when SBS showed him the cake, and he was being restless not to cut the cake but to cut and have a bite.

Overall, the most fun and cheerful segment we had got on his birthday, still it makes us laugh like anything.

Ohh god plss always keep that smile on Harshad's face intact.

2012

 Once again a blast on his birthday, and this time on the sets of Saubhagybhati bhava, where his coactress Sriti was there to celebrate with him.

On one side Sriti was wishing him and telling in front of the camera about Harshad, and on the other side janab sat with his cake and was eating it. The SBS segment was hilarious, he tried to light the candle up, but " nature ne bujhadiya hain ", so he ends up at cutting the cake without the candle and Sriti was screaming and chanting Happy birthday song so loud, ekdum gala phadkey . And he also promises us that he will keep working as hard as he has done in his past years.

Not to forget that this time even SBB covered his birthday for us, and this time along with Sriti, we had the lil Yash( his coactor, onscreen nephew) with him and lit up the segment more . This was covered on the sets of their show, and Harshad tells how the wishes shouldn't be disclosed otherwise it does not get fulfilled. Moreover, when the reporter asked him about his marriage, he replies that he won't mary soon atleast not when he is professionally busy, and to burst his bubble sriti claims that " Jhoot bolraha hain, asaal mein koi shaadi nahi karma chahta issye ".

This was so hilarious, both started laughing.

Overall, the segment was so fun, and once again harshad smiling and enjoying his birthday, was such a peaceful view.
