--JAY SONI AT#6--Be it as simple,innocent and extremely patient Ishaan or as the dedicated,cultured and lovable Jai Kishan or as a spontaneous and witty host the suave and handsome Jay Soni has created a niche for himself in the TV world.born in mumbai and bought up in gujarat Jay never ever thought of being in TV Industry.But things changed while he was in college.one of his friends informed him about auditions being conducted for an advertisement and to his good luck he got selected after which he got emboldened and thought of doing big on TV...But the start hasn't been easy for Jay.He has faced a lot of difficulties and criticism in his initial days.but never lost hope.He worked on himself.worked on his body as he was fat then.worked on improving his hindi diction and proved himself.
Jay is a known name in ad world.he has done around 60-70 advertisements for big brands like Mac Donalds,colgate,Max NewYork Life insurance,Hero Honda,Virgin mobile and many more.
Jay started his career in a suppoting role in the film Dil maange more.He has been a part of many television shows like Remix,Prithviraj Chauhan,Bali umar ko salaam,Remote Control,Baa Bahu aur Baby and films like MP3-Mera peehla peehla pyaar,Buddha mar gaya.
But Jay got his BIG break in the world of TV with Ravi ojha productions path-breaking show 'Sasural Genda Phool'.It can be considered as Jay's debut as a 'Lead Actor' into television industry.
Jay potrayed the character of much grounded and adorable Ishaan to the T that he earned many accolades and quickly stole the limelight for his role.His acting was appretiated by viewers as well as TV critics...and he was awarded for his role at various TV award functions.
Known for his cute and Innocent looks,Jay displayed wide range of talent and wowed the audicence time and again.
He hosted many award functions,events and Zee TV's popular reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Lil Champs' With his unique style of hosting he made the show popular among viewers and managed to make an impact for himself with charm and cuteness...
Jay being a good stage performer,performed at various well known events and award functions on TV.
He has also made special apperance in shows like 'Chef pankaj ka Zayka' and Shekar suman's Movers and Shakers.
However sadly Jay's career as Ishaan came to end with SGP going off air suddenly but it is perhaps just the end of begining.He was soon flooded with offers for different roles as lead from major GEC's.Currently seen in Colors TV's drama Sanskaar Dharohan Apnon Ki as Jai Kishan Vaishnav,Jay is making an impressive impact on audience and making a mark for himself.However Jay says his journey was not a cake walk for him and credits his parents for being supportive and encouraging through out his journey.
Being a very simple and fun loving person,Jay likes to spend time with his family and friends and love to listen to music and also likes to dance.
