Kanhaiyya comes in waving two air tickets.
Kanhaiyya : Sona Sonaji see what I got for you.
Sona : (Comes into the bedroom and sees the air ticket in Kanahiyya's hands) We are going somewhere ?
Kanhaiyya : Yes. Kerala. For our honeymoon.
Sona : (Blushes) So far away.
Kanhaiyya : (Comes behind Sona hugs her and whisper in her ears) Its a very romantic place. So start packing Sonaji.
Sona and Kanhaiyya are ready to leave. Sunaina has mixed emotions on her face. Only Chachaji, Neelam and Udham are happy for them. The rest have a smirk on their faces.
They travel to Delhi and take the 2.5 hrs flight to Kochi. From there, they travel by road to Kumarakom backwaters. Sona is not aware of their destination. Kanhaiyya has kept it as a surprise. She thinks they are going to a beach resort. Sonayya enjoys the beauty of nature on the way - the lush greenery, coconut trees ,the paddy fields. Soon they reach the houseboat where they are going to spend the day and night.
Sona is surprised and stunned beyond words ! A houseboat cruise is something she least expected.She looks at Kanhaiyya with dreamy eyes. As soon as they enter the boat their eyes fell on a big cake . The caretaker said , they welcome honeymoon couples with a cake. Sonayya smiled at each other and cut the cake together.
The houseboat starts moving slowly .Sona and Kanhaiyya sat on the couch holding hands and enjoying the beauty of the backwaters, the coconut trees, birds flying , the ducks and cranes in the water, and the occasional elephant that comes to drink water near the banks of the river. After a few hours the boat stops near a secluded spot for the night. The caretaker gives them food and leaves the boat. Now , Kanhaiyya and Sona are alone in the boat surrounded by water and the sounds of night life.
Sona stands looking at the moon. Kanhaiyya comes and gently turns her face. They look into each other's eyes. (BGM- Pee Loon Tere neele neele nainon se shabnam...) Kanhaiyya lifts her and start walking inside. On the way, he sees the cake on the table. He puts down Sona, take a scoop of icing with his finger and smear it on her cheeks. He was about to lick when Sona takes a handful and smear all over his cheeks. She runs towards the bedroom. Kanhaiyya follows and together they fall on the bed. They look into each other's eyes for sometime. He slowly removed her earings and other jewels without taking his eyes off her face . Sona is blushing and waiting with eager eyes. He kissed her forhead and she does the same. He kissed her eyes and Sona repeats the same. He licks the cream on her cheek and waits for Sona to do but Sona feels shy . Then he gently kissed her lips. Sona closed her eyes and wait for more. Kanhaiyya hugs her and slowly removes her blouse and saree...(camera pans to the moon)
In the darkness, they lie side by side. Far away they hear the hoot of an owl and the gentle ripples of water and the mild waves hitting their boat. Sona opened her eyes and looked at Kanhaiyya. Kanhaiyya lifts his head turns to Sona and looks at her. Sona hides her face on his chest.
Just then they hear a faint thunder and the sound of droplets of water falling on their roof. They get up and go outside and the scene is breath taking. There was a slight drizzle and the water droplets falling on the river reminded her of the passionate moment that had just passed by. She looks at Kanhaiyya again with eager eyes. Kanhaiyya dims the lantern and carries her to the couch and ...(camera pans to the lantern. )
They hug each other tightly and fall asleep on the couch.. Kanhaiyya wakes up at the sound of chirping birds. Its breaking dawn and they are still in the couch. He carries Sona into the bedroom and lay her on the bed. She hugs him tightly as a reflex action. Kanhaiyya is too happy and kissed her lips again. He gently removed her hands and goes out of the room.
The caretaker walks in with coffee and breakfast. He sees the cake smeared on the table and goes about cleaning it. Just then Sona comes out in an emerald green saree with a glow on her face. Sona is a bit embarassed to see the caretaker and looks at Kanhaiyya sheepishly.The caretaker informs that they will leave in one hour's time. Sonayya pack their things with 'Tum Ho' as BGM.
As the boat moves on they look into each other's eyes with love , understanding and a new bonding from the previous night.
