100 years of Indian Cinema ... let's appreciate the contribution of north , east and west india in Bollywood ( not including South india as there is already a thread for South India )

North India e.g Punjab , Delhi , UP , Kashmir , HP , RJ , Hayarana , MP

First three stars were Punjabi ... Raj Kapoor, Dev Anad and Dilip Kumar

first Super star was Punjabi- Rajesh Khanna

Then there was Amitabh Bachchan , Pran , Vinod Khanna , Dharmendra , jeetendra , Rafi , Mahendra kapoor , Sahir Ludhianavi , Sonu Nigham and list goes on Till now e.g Akshay ...to the latest one Siddharth Malhotra

East India - West Bengal , Assam , Orrisa and 7 sisters

Bollywood's music is not complete without Bengalis

and Bengal has given us so many great directors

West India - Gujrat , Maharashtra

Father of Indian Cinema Shri Dada Sahab Phalke

Sanjeev Kumar , Aasha Parekh , Aruna Irani, Dimple Kapadia

Mangeshkar sisters , Madhuri Dixit and many more

Why not just celebrate every state's contribution to Bollywood and Indian cinema? =D

I think Every region from All over India has contributed in Bollywood... Take out profile of any movie's crew list, you will find members from every region.

sure , We should ... but there was already a thread for south India only so i thought we all must appreciate other states contribution too so started this thread 😃

On that note... it has also given Gurmeet Choudhary, Karan Kundra and the likes 😆

But I like KSG- one of the few male actors on the small screen that can be actually called an ACTOR.

And like someone else already said, look at the credits of any film and you will see people from all over India. 😊
