So here chapter 1 and as usual not checked for mistakes ..please ignore them
Chapter 1- Memories
As usual he was in his study going through the photo albums, they only way that he could see her smiling with him with them and for them
ACP Sameer Rathore , Chief of ETF had been had been married for two years and an a year before a new member had joined his family – he felt complete but was he happy that one question haunted him till now
How could he be happy when his best friend was there all alone waiting for her and none of them had any idea where she was .It had been a night like this when she had left him or he had made her leave him for their sake, for his sake but he didn't knew that that would be last time that he would be seeing her. All these years they had tried level best but couldn't find her. If he had an inclination that this was about to happen he would have never let her go but then will their lives would have been the same ?
She justified her name Maushmi just like the breeze she had entered their lives and her leaving had left a void in both of them which couldn't be filled. They could feel her presence just like the wind but could never see her.
The smell of the coffee broke his chain of thoughts and he knew his darling wife was here right beside him as always.
She handed him the cup and her eyes went down to the pictures, a lone tear drop left her eyes.His smile which she loved on him, those black orbs which had the naughty glint- Yes he was more like the Arjun she knew , her best friend .
"Where is he "
"He is sleeping with Diya"
"You managed to make him stay "
She replied with a sad smile – "No, Diya did, you know he can't say no to her "
"It been 3 years today that she is been missing and he has been waiting for 3 years so patiently for her that I fall short of words of how to console him" Sameer added he fingers trailing their happy faces
"It has been 5 Years that he has been waiting Sameer" Ayesha added quietly, don't forget those two years when she was with you .He hadn't stopped loving her then nor will he stop loving her now "
He froze for a moment; no one would have thought that ACP Sameer Rathore would have his demons to fight with
"I loved her too, not with the intensity like his, not the way i love you but yes I did and I am not regretting those two years."
"I know Sameer, but the fact that they were meant to be just like us and now time has separated them hurts me more . "
He pulled her closer taking warmth from her "I know they were soul mates like us and I just hope that Mau comes backs "
She heard her giggling –"Why don't u call her by her full name Sameer"
'For me it was always Mau meaning sweet, that was our relationship Ayesha and for Arjun she was Shama the fire that burned him along with herself. I have no idea since when did it began but it was kind of a line of distinction which we both had drawn defining our relationship with her "
Sameer Rathore had been lucky to have found love and a soul mate in Ayesha but Arjun when will his wait end .They both got up to head to their room not before glancing towards the a room where a Arjun had Diya sleeping on her chest . A peaceful and content smile was playing on his lips .It was only with Diya that he was genuinely happy. Diya hadn't just made the Sameer and Ayesha Parents but she had brought the light back in Arjun life after the last time. The fire in him was subsided every time he was with her.
Sending a quick prayer to god for his friend's happiness they both headed upstairs to sleep.

Miles away a girl woke up from her slumber it was still 5 am and the sun was just rising spreading light and illuminating the whole area but as always no light could remove the darkness of her life which she choose for herself . It had been 3 years that she had come to this place for a story and got stuck in such a web that going away was difficult or impossible now .To think about it now who would she go back to , the last time she checked , she had no relatives or friends to call her own as she was private person .There was only one person that she could call her own but she remembered that Sameer had broken up with her but deep down she knew that it was coming and he would still take care of her the way he always did . But then there was always him, the one who could make her weak, the one from whom she always ran away, the one who had the courage to question her love for Sameer at every point of time yet had managed to draw the line between them which could never been broken or crossed. Arjun was her undoing back then and after 3 years also.
While Sameer was like a cool breeze in her life Arjun was the tornado that could destroy everything yet he didn't for the sake of his friendship.
It was her who didn't want to go back to him; she was scared for what her going back would lead the three of them too. Thus she made a decision to stay here as Shama, his Shama the fire which burned her had defined her too. She wore her scarf and went to collect the water from the nearby area. As usual only her eyes were visible to everyone and for once she thanked god that none questioned her about it was they thought it to be a part of her religious beliefs. .All throughout the journey she could feel their eyes on her, as a routine they followed her so that she doesn't escape. How could she make them understand that she had no way to escape and no one to escape to .It was just her and the little Naina living next door who could be defined as her family now .She had changed her name and hidden her face so that no one could recognize her and for 3 years she was successful. The only time she remembered both of the them was during her prayers , they both were always present in her each dua since the time she had met them .
