Wheather they did it or not floor or bed , it was only a foreplay what ever happened they can't show it, really this is the best way to confuse the viewers and plus the sm family members , aarya are really brilliant they don't want their family members to guess what happened between them and the dialogues were beautifully written but with double meaning , in which way you think about it, it perfectly suits according to the situation, let's say aarya did it but they were very conscious that no one should doubt them so perfectly combed their hair, in others eye sight they looked neatly dressed in order no one could doubt them. 

This happens mostly when you live in joint families to avoid further embarrassments of others and confuse too, only very few could make out what could have happened between the two.
