Kamaal, Dhammal, Bemisaal……A few adjectives to describe tonight's episode…Well don't you agree?
Haan it was a known fact that Zoya wouldn't leave but when the sequence rolled out today, when the scenes appeared one after the other before your eyes didn't you feel elated, didn't you feel that your lips were parting into perhaps the biggest grin ever????
In one of our earlier analysis we had mentioned that one of the traits of this 4 Lions Character is that she is a very smart girl, very clever and thoughtful. Tamatar aka Najma had gifted the CD to Zoya, matlab it was hers to keep, yet Zoya thought of copying the contents of the CD into the laptop and mail to her ID so that she can look it up on her I-Pad whenever she wants, and God bless her for doing that bas it was seriously getting a tad bit boring with Razia and Tanveer aka Billo Rani as the only people winning every time they made a move. Even today Tanveer would have gotten away with the CD, had it not been for Zoya.
Surbhi Jyoti is emerging as one of the finest actresses on Indian Television and Mashallah does a splendid Job in emotional scenes….She had already confronted Asad (Yesterday's Episode) on his Good-Bye message to her. She had asked him if that was all he wanted to say…..In short she was done having this conversation with Mr. Khan, yet his words bore into her like dagger….Did he really have nothing to say? Did he not feel even an iota of pain, sadness that she Ms. Farookhi was leaving??? What Ms Farookhi did not realize was that the Lord Almighty had other plans for her…..Like she mentioned the other day her story was not one that would be left incomplete, instead it would reach culmination.
She was about to leave the room when his voice boomed , leaving her startled because what was being said was not what she heard when she played the CD for the first time….This was different, this was him actually asking her to not leave " Mat Jao Zoya….."….What was interesting was that Zoya had her back aginst the viewers…indicating that she was leaving while Asad in the Laptop screen also had his back against but from where one sees, it looked like he was stopping her…..Not sure if that was a conscious move by the Creative's nevertheless it sure added an interesting feel to the moment. Again when Zoya turns around startled to her Jahapanah 6 Packs say "Mat Jao Zoya" in the laptop frame we see Asad also turn……We all know that Asad has never been able to express himself when it comes to Zoya and with her decision of leaving, he has been all the more distraught…. this was a message that got recorded accidently, without his knowledge had Zoya been right before him, standing face to face Asad would have never looked into Zoya's eyes and asked her to stay (Presently…Future perhaps things may change) which is what him turning in the laptop screen but in totality turning away from Zoya (Take the two frames as one) indicate ….as said very creatively done.
That definitely has to be the most beautiful Confession ever….Yes it was not "I LOVE YOU ZOYA" wala confession, nevertheless for a man who cannot express his feelings, who sees to it that no body ever gets the slightest hint of what lays inside his heart….this truly was a heart-tugging confession by all means….." Lekin I wish, I wish main tumse Keh Paata ki main nahi chahta tum jao"…"Kash mein keh paata rukh jao" "Please Mat jaao Zoya" it was like music to Zoya's ears finally he had said, he wished, hoped against all odds that she does not leave. Adding to the beauty of it the tears that glistened in Asad's eyes when he expressed himself, it not only showed how pained he was that she was leaving, but also that he couldn't say these words to her (Lets not forget that Asad is still unaware of this getting recorded).
Would love to congratulate the CV's for choosing Amrapali Gupta as Tanveer she is a fine actress, and someone who we see as doing complete justice to the character of Tanveer aka Billo Rani….The mystery behind this character is still to come out….but all said and done Tanveer has ensured at every step, that she gets what she wants and this time too she would have gotten things her way had it not been for Zoya's clever thinking. There was something really symbolic in the following scene….On one side Tanveer's present motive is to become "Mrs. Asad Ahmed Khan", but we see her willingly give or rather hand over Asad-Dilshaad-Najma to Zoya, as though it always belonged to her……Yes we are talking about the gift, the photo frame she made for Zoya and even gifted it to her which is symbolic that Asad and his family was and will always be Zoya's.
" Mian nahi jaa rahi hoon" …..Today when Zoya announced that she wasn't leaving a small perhaps the faintest smile ever appears on Asad's face, but that smile said it all. The thought of Zoya leaving was hard to fathom, nevertheless he decided to go with the flow because according to Asad, though there was something, a strong-deep connection between the two that kept pulling them towards each other, he believed that she was better off with out him, though his heart ached for her to stay back, be there right in front his eyes always, he decided that she it was best if he did not stop her. How restless his heart had begun to grow, this was like instantly putting his heart at ease so to say it was like somebody had injected him with Beta Blockers (Drugs used to reduce heart rate, relive tension).
And we are back to the same old "Tu Tu Main Main"…… Wah Asad Miyaan maan gaye…..The act was the usual bickering wala but behind all that bickering Asad wanted to make sure that Zoya was actually staying, and Zoya as usual throws a googly at Asad by asking to decide if she stays or leaves since he was the owner of the house. Befoe Asad could say anything Zoya announces that they'll leave it to "Kismat", she decides on tossing a coin Heads she stays, Tails she leaves, but Madam yeh nahi samaj paayi ki yeh sab Kismat ka khel hi tha……It was destiny the brought Zoya and Asad together, it was fate that kept playing it's cards even today (Zoya seeing the video). It was super cute seeing all mouth Heads yes, including Asad, who not in his wildest dreams would have thought Zoya would leave it to Fate.
Asad catches hold of the coin "Kya aaya Mr. Khan Head ya Tails?" "Afsoos….Heads"….when in reality it wasTails…..Time for some more symbolism…..Asad has always been the mater of his fate, he was one who re-wrote destiny and so Asad catching the coin was well in sync with his character. A coin was not going to decide his fate (Which was sealed with Zoya's). Though it was Tails he said Heads, which not only emphasizes his wish of Zoya not leaving, but also that he will not hesitate to fight for her, change the course of destiny if required, if the occasion called for it (Perhaps in the future, when they are in love).
OMG!!! Zoya doesn't let one single opportunity go waste does she??? She not only asks Asad to tell him what was actually in his heart, but calls him emotionally challenged right on his face and also shows him the video where he opens up leaving him flabbergasted. And in his defense "Mere liye aapko rokhne ka matlab, jaate hui musibat ka rukh waapis apni taraf mod lena" …..And Zoya being Zoya adds to the fuel by saying to deal with it coz she wasn't going anywhere.
Razia's Black Magic track did look interesting in the start but now it's lost it's essence, moreover the fact that she wins either by hook or crook is a little too hard to digest especially when you have a strong, determined and pure-hearted Badi Bi who has challenged the former. It's been quite a while that Razia has tasted failure, perhaps with the news of Zoya staying put in India, things will once again get messier….The new track of the (Immigration Track) sure looks interesting, Rakesh Bedi and Juhi Aslam will sure spice up the drama with their interesting cameo as the strict-clean record maintiaing immigration officer and assistant…..Moreover if one were to go by the on air promo, this is the track where Asad will present Zoya as his fianc. Which means Sheh aur Maat for Tanveer and Razia, because Zoya for thee two women mean Danger.
Both KSG and SJ give stunning performances but tonight's show stealer without doubt was Karan Singh Grover. When it comes to expressing your feelings (Onscreen), giving the perfect expression and leave an impression he is the man, the actor to look at. KSG is truly truly the Emperor of Expressions and Acting. He is the best we have in the industry today and there are no second thoughts about it. Right from the most subtle expressions to the most strong in your face expressions he does them all with great ease and lan.
