good morning, all,
there is a reason i was always an apple girl. π.
the shot is a classic. something of the poster in it, the one you got to immediately grab and put up on wall near your bed. but if that has you feeling too bothered, maybe the wall on the other side.
fifties or sixties, the rebel. button carelessly undone, white tee stretched across flat taut torso, feels like an undershirt, especially with that sleeve, maroon tight fitting pants, just a hint of colour on black and white. but most of all that carefree posture, as though no one's looking, the glint in the eyes, what's he planning, the arm folded back, lean built up muscle of upper arm, a curiously satisfied air.
why an undershirt? is he casually relaxing after something, instead of cigarette, the fruit of knowledge gets bitten. hungry? nice.
a feeling of movement in the whole frame. the gaze, the muscles of arm, torso, the thoughts in his head. and that perfect still corner, the dark recess where his collar bone meets his shoulder.
best of all, no sign of money, wealth, stuff. just a man and his moment.
sunday mornings are so good to get rambly in. this was a good photographer and a model not posing. love him in clothes, he makes fabric sexy.
