The second question was typical of RK...I dnt knw if I am right but I think his first question was more of his need to know and survive while the second was for his insecurities or whatever you say. Thats as much a part of him as everything else. 

I am not sure if RK will apologize...now or later too. And in all probability he wouldn't atleast keep crying. He will be ready to take up whatever punishment comes his way and will mend things by his actions.
