Hey read all 29 parts of this FF and i have simply loved it. Somewhere i have a thing for dark stories though not outright dark which send me into depression but in a subtle way. So this story was something i really enjoyed reading it. Loved the way you described and narrated this story. And also the mystery and the bit of suspense kept me intrigued.
Felt immensely for Geet. I know its a sad reality that there are girls who are forced to do skin business cos of their situation; but still it pained to know how once she was a happy n contend girl living happily with her parents n fulfilling her own dreams. And suddenly that accident changed her life for worse. Knowing she is alone n that too a young girl, people never leaves a chance to exploit their innocence. Argh hate the cruelty of life. Though she was her own hero, her fate made her cross the 'real' hero of life. And once again her life changed. And since then the situations, the alien feelings, her own desires n passion made her life more confuse. I have read pros and escort Geet yet, this Geet n her situations n character was a lot different. More so cos she has gray shades to her. She dint care what people think about her and ruled her own life. Despite feeling the changes in her cos of Maan, she dint give up and tried fighting it. Cos of course she knew pros life is not fixed and the lavishness n security Maan gave her was temporary. Cos he definitely doesnt deserve a broken girl like her in his perfect life. So whatever she did n how she behaved to make him see the truth of her life was totally understandable. She had her own fears, insecurities, apprehensions, inhibitions. But in spite of trying so hard she fell for him, his niceness, care, concern, trust and everything about him attracted her towards him more n more n she fell deep. And once again started behaving like a normal human being. And my heart cried every time she cried n suffered. I simply loved her character. She was head strong n her 'i give a damn attitude' was something made me enjoy the more. But everything failed in front of MSK n his determination to make her his. And at the end she had to give in n finally marry him.
Coming to Maan, he was simply a perfect hero. A prince every girl wishes just for herself. Yeah i was confused at start as to why he is interested in a pros when he can have any girl. But later with updates i somewhere started feeling may be he already knows Geet from past. But then i was confused how come Geet doesnt remember him. Also Niki was so sweet towards Geet as if she too knew about her from start. But even in the wildest thoughts of mine i couldnt have ever guessed that for him it was love at first sight. Specially when she was shown as a nerd n he a handsome n successful businessman. The moment i read about his craziness for Geet, like a love sick puppy; i was simply shocked. His character was always positive from start but still the fact that Geet being a pros dint ever matter to him or never actually lessen his love, respects n desire for her; made me love n respect him many folds. He is gem of a person n doubt. Specially when he himself is a celebrity and has a fan following of his own; he still dint care about what world would make of his love. All he cared was for his own heart n love for his Geet n nothing else. And even after seeing the love of his life kissing other man, he went beyond crazy n married her so that she doesnt leave his side ever. He has tied her down to himself for the rest of their life.
About Niki, i love her character to death. Carefree, bindaas, bubbly n full of life. She dint despise Geet and accepted for what she was. Moreover her love for her own brother was something made me respect her more. She could have easily hate Geet but for Maan she accepted what he love. Her scenes always make me smile.
About Dadima, i still dont know what to make of her. I still dint understand why she hated Geet? Cos Maan ignored Deepika? Cos Geet doesnt have a family of her own n there is no one behind her? Or cos she herself is a 'purane khayalaat ki lady' n so she despises Geet? I m confused.
Glad to know at least Maa accepted Geet for Maan's happiness.
About Dev, i simply hate that man. He is complete black character. Has harbored some kind of of hatred for Maan. And then pretends to be the good little brother in front of Maan. But behind his back like a coward back stabs him. I hope his real face comes out in front of Maan. Geet seems to have forgotten about the anonymous attack happened on Maan or she still dint guess that the attack was done by Dev? I hope at least now she speaks it out n clears about the file thing also, else there is a very big chance of misunderstanding happening b/w Maaneet cos of Dev. They have just started their married life and already so many swords are hanging over their relationship.
Shaan seems to be a nice man as of now. Till now i really never felt any negative vibes from him. And the way he helped Geet when Maan was in hospital was really nice of him. Yeah he did misbehaved at start but he regretted as well n ask for forgiveness too n Geet too forgave him. Not to forget at the end Geet used him which might have hurt him somewhere. Hoping all this wont cost his sweet friendship with Geet. I have started liking his character so hope he doesnt turn negative.
About Deepika, she is one cunning lady. I dont know if she truly loves Maan or was she behind the power he holds in business world? I m confused about her character as of now.
I have really enjoyed reading all the 29 updates of this FF so far n waiting to read more n know what all is store for Maaneet.
B/w i have few questions though. What was Geet's age when Maan saw her in college and also Maan's age? Whats the age difference b/w them? And you said Maan was in several relationships. How can that be when he was already in love with Geet? So i presume he was in relationships before meeting Geet? And then after he came to know she was dead? Or even in those 3 years when he was away for his business? Just kinda confuse about the whole past since Maan knew her from his past whereas Geet doesnt. And then how many years past when Maan came to know Geet is dead? Does all this also means poor Geet was a pros for more than 3 years since the accident happened when she was 18? This calculation slashes my heart then.
And can you please at least update the link of your blog updates in thread whenever you update? So members like me who dont comment on blog can know when the next part is being updated and comment here in thread? Sorry for the weird demand.
