This is a story of two brothers Maan and Dev and their journey from being teenagers to men.
There are two girls who fall in love with them in the process, Geet and Naintara.
While one love story is sweet and gentle, the other is no less than fireworks.
There will be confusions, misunderstandings, growing up, breaking up, making up, standing up and lots of love along the way.
He walked into the room after two years shutting the doors behind him squeezing his eyes tightly. He did not want to relive the scene downstairs and yet it floated into his eyelids. She was being carried in his twin brother's hands. The next scene of Daadima hugging her and blessing Dev and kissing his forehead. All three faces beaming with radiant smiles. He had shut the front door and stood outside for a few minutes before composing his face and walking in. The pooja thali was brought and Daadima had blessed him as he entered, her joy complete having both her beloved grandsons with her.
After a few minutes of chitchat he had escaped to his room on the excuse of jetlag. The shards crushing his heart which had beat for two years on hope and faith alone seemed to shred it into tiny pieces... His hands fisted to the side as he opened his eyes.
The room looked exactly the way he had left it. Daadima must have placed the yellow roses in a vase near the nightstand. The soft fragrance of them and another memory wafted into his mind. His diary lay on his desk, where he had forgotten it before leaving for London. The diary which captured all his thoughts about her. He opened the drawer and tucked it inside, too raw to look at it now. This room filled with thoughts of her is how he had spent his years of college. Today he was suffocated in here.
He turned on the stereo to escape the thoughts rushing in and out of his head as if it was rush hour. As the humming began, he should have shut the stereo off but strangely his hands refused to leave his sides. It was their song and maybe for the last time he would hear it out.

Okay... so I have this habit of following saving the best for the last quote, and I thought to read this prologue in a fresh mood hence and I have read it now and damn it to hell, I want to catch your shoulders and shake you violently until your teeth chatter. How can anyone make us feel for characters in such less lines. How? HAUU?
Needless to say I am hooked and I am going to stalk this thread big time. Hmph.
