Rishi Durvasa was doing a hawan of Ma Durga ...Ma Durga has a plan to break the pride of Indra...she appears before Rishi Durwasa...who completed her hawan...Rishi Durwasa felt blessed to see Ma Durga before him...Ma Durga gives a rosery made up of the seeds of Paarijaat tree to Rishi Durwasa and tells him that this rosery will always bring wealth ,luxuries and happiness in the life of the person who will wear it around his neck...then MA DURGA disappears ...
Rishi Durwasa thought that what he will do with that rosery ...it shd be with the person who really requires it ...then Rishi Durwasa after a great thought ...made his mind to give that rosery to Indra as every now n then Indra requires wealth ,happiness becaz most of the times Indra is defeated by the Asurs ...
