Terror attack. A terrifying phenomenon that has gripped the world at large and we as nation have felt it time and again. The basic thing that the terrorists bank on is fear. Fear will stop us from venturing outside our homes. Wars have done that. Now the war is of different kind. We as citizens of the world need to protect ourselves and each other from such brutal attacks. We need to be more vigilant, aware of our surroundings and help each other. The age of technology has made us distant from people. Earlier we not only knew our neighbours but also had community bonhomie whether it was to borrow a bowl of sugar or just a quick hello in the corridors/garden. Why do we now not take care of our own people? In traffic we have road rage, curse and belittle other commuters, do not give space to others. Have we become selfish?

Can we ignore what is happening around us? The latest bomb blast that happened in Hyderabad is another example of how we as citizens can help our system improve and fight against terror.
Let us pledge to be more aware, vigilant and proactive to defend not just ourselves but our property be it a public transport, public building or our backyard. Here, is to safer nation. Let us as citizens of the country raise a voice and take action. Be more civil, courteous and peace loving.
