isn't Bh=V ?
No. replacing Bh with V changes the meaning.

Ok. so what do Bhayankar and Vayankar mean?

BTW: when u write BHayankar, is H silent?

Tan

In Hindi, there is 'ba' and there is 'wa'.  In Bengali, the 2 are conflated, and sometimes, words that start w/ 'wa' in Hindi start w/ 'bha'  or 'ba' in Bengali.  In Hindi, the 'wa' is used to spell out words starting w/ either a w or a v.

Although I have no idea what Vayankar means.
