Saw Inglorious bas***ds...yes finally

Good movie...with amazing bgm which is a must in a Tarantino movie Big smile

Everyone was amazing even the French and German actors whom I never knew before
Guy playing hitler was awesome

Brad was a lilttle OTT for my taste...but nevertheless am engaging story

Star of the movie was surely Christoph Waltz...who carries the movie amazing right from the first scene Clap ..loved him as the bad guy

Michael Fassbender was such a delight to watch in the short cameo...he is yum Embarrassed

Movie's only weak point is that it has lots of subtitles to read which can get a little tedious after some time

3.5/5

SOTY - It was an okay one time watch. The usual Kjo fluff I suppose. I liked the dude who played Abhi, thought he did a good job with his role, Rohan was decent too.. didn't feel like the Shanyana had much to do except for look super cute which is kinda surprising for a Kjo flick. I really liked the supporting cast fab job by everyone there! Some of the songs were catchy too..but wayy too many throughout the movie. I'd give ti a 3/5

Special 26

A pretty nice film with a very good plot but something was missing. Nothing was much exciting in the twists and turns as well as the suspense. At some parts, most of us can guess what's gonna happen next and who's gonna get fooled. However, the movie can trick you and keep you guessing throughout the film. The execution was right on the money and Neeraj Pandey has done pretty decent job. Anyway, this could've been one hell of a thriller with some improvements here and there but still a very good attempt on a true story. I wish it was more like Shootout at Lokhandwala where the thrilling factor was alive throughout but that's just me. Give it a try if you're into those realisticish films :P

Rock of Ages

I wanted to see this so bad when it came out last year. I finally got down to watching it. I don't know why it got bad reviews. I think people simply don't understand or appreciate musicals anymore. Even Rent and Mama Mia were unreasonably trashed by critics. Musicals are meant to be fun, frothy, entertainers. Not every musical is meant to be a cinematic masterpiece like a Les Mis. Some are made just cause.

And Rock of Ages doesn't disappoint. It provides non-stop entertainment from start to finish. It is a cute love story against the back drop of rock and roll. The plot develops and moves quickly. There is great humor. There is some nice acting. You meet some very interesting quirky characters. A stellar cast of Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta Jones, Russel Brand. The two gorgeous dancer singers Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta. Most importantly - there is some fabulous music that puts you back in the eighties hair band era. This is a fun fun fun movie.

I love Russel Brand and Alec baldwin in the movie!!!! EPIC!!!!! So was the monkey Hey-Man. And tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx. Pour some sugar on me baby.

To be honest it is exactly like the Broadway musical. It is the Broadway experience on screen. You get to watch it for ten bucks instead of a $200 prime seat. Just watch it and enjoy it,

7.5/10

Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story

Yes, I watched a Vivek Oberoi movie. Don't judge me.

I wasn't expecting much but I liked the trailer so I thought I'd give it a chance. It was actually pretty decent! The love story is not typical and Vivek and Neha have great chemistry together. Vivek does the "bhai-giri" really well and has the right body language too.

My favourite parts were when Simrin comes crying to Jayanta after an interviewer tells her to dance to "Zaara zaara touch me, touch me" during the interview and humiliates her. And later when her boss takes her to a sketchy hotel and Jayanta beats the crap out of him. I usually don't like fight scenes and skip them altogether but that one was worth watching.

I also love how he calls her "Badodtri" and she gets frustrated with him. And the love story is done really well. It's not rushed at all and obviously Simrin doesn't want to fall for a gangster but it's more about how their relationship slowly progresses.

The music is great! Aa bhi ja sticks in your head for a while after. And thoda thoda is nice too.

I'd seen the actress before in the Mere Bina song with Emraan Hashmi but nothing else. She's gorgeous! And she acts decently. I dunno why she's not getting more offers. She's totally hot.

Overall, if you're just done midterms and need some light Bollywood entertainment, this movie's not that bad! Honestly!

I'd give it a 3/5

Saw X-men: First Class...,I know I am so late in watching it

So I had no expectations from this one as such but I was hooked on right from the first scene in Poland.
There was not a single time that I got bored while watching it, even though I watched it late night around 2 am.

The cast was really good...everyone played their part to perfection. But as always some people stood out like James as Charles...he had such a sweet character and acted really well. JLaw as Raven was amazing...even though she had less role compared to the 3 main guys but she stood out the most from the kids. Her bf (yea I know they broke up now LOL ) Nicholas was good too...such a needy character. The guy playing Shaw (villain) was amazing...don't know his name

Show stealer was my handsome hunk Michael Fassbender...he was fantastic as Erik...I loved his action scenes, his voice, his gorgeous face...yea I can write an essay on him Embarrassed LOL

Also the cameo by Hugh Jackman was hilarious...hahha when he said go f**k yourself to Erik & Charles LOL

I would give it 4/5...waiting for the second part now   Big smile

Argo

Freaking finally! I loved it. And I'm just feeling terrible that I didn't catch it in the theater. Argo is a gem! The direction, execution, performance by the cast is all top-notch! Ben Affleck is definitely here to stay. His direction was fantastic and his portrayal of Tony was amazing. The supporting cast did their parts well too. The only part that Argo didn't cover was a failed attempt by US to rescue the six diplomats. US had sent two choppers to rescue them but the mission failed and the choppers collided with each other. The climax was well-done and the whole 'thrill' element was surely there.

I wouldn't mind watching it again.<3 And oh yeah Ben Affleck should keep the hairstyle that he had in the movie, he looked cute!:p And a big salute to Canada and the man who carried this whole operation out. The oscars that the movie received are truly well deserved!

4.5/5 (Reducting the .5 for I don't know what)
