Episode 217 Discussion: 12th March 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

The Drama is back in Action - Hurray!!!!

Events of the Episode

Night in MBVerse

At Sultan's Place, Madhu and Aryan spend their time together. Both of them are very happy and their laughter reaches Sultan who is pensively thinking. Check out Zorica's 1st poster below. Its expressive.
Meanwhiile at RK Mansion, over the dinner table, Sikky and Dipali are having dinner together. Sikky is upset and looking seriously at Dipali. When D asks what is bothering him, S asks her when her cameo role is going to end. As she refuses to answer, S tells her that he understands what's going on between her RK and her and how she stored 400 odd pics of RK and her and not even one pic of him. RK comes over to the table calls for his mother. D exlains that she is busy with work and gets ready to serve him and RK preempts that and serves himself the food. Sikky asks RK when D's cameo role is to end. RK categorically dismisses S that he cannot ask him the question, ofcourse with some dramatic dialogue. When Sikky chides RK to be serious, RK retorts Sikky that he utter dialogues to the extent he can handle. Sikky gets angry and leaves the table. Dips also follows him. Radhaji is watching all this and is apprehensive at the turn of events between the two step brothers.

Next Day in MBVerse

At the Studio, RK looks at a fearful Shraddha, who is cautious not to upset him. RK tries to break the ice with her by asking if her hair-dresser is there. She says yes. And as RK calls for his Spot, he notices tgat hairdresserr for Shraddha is not Madhu,but some other girl. RK asks her where is Madhu. That girsl tells , M did not come for work and called in sick. RK starts messaging someone.
Back to Sultan's place - M and Aryan are having "Panja ladana" (don't recall the english name) game and Aryan is winning. He finished his breakfast and its time to leave for M. The old man RN is grateful to M for taking care of the kid. M turns to Sultan, who returns her phone. As they go to the hall, Sultan, asks M, what does she want in return for her services. As M gives a blank face and lectures him of goodness, S listens to her. M ends the lecture saying she doesn't need money and next time he can just say Please to her without pointing a gun and she will be back for Aryan should she be needed. Sultan drops her at the Chawl.
Chawl - M walks the chawl compound and sees people gathered in hordes outside waiting to watch something. She doesn't understand and reaches their apt, knocks the door and Trishna lets her in and immediately closes the door. M asks what's going on. T points out to RK who is waiting inside the Apt. M gets angry. T explains how RK was waiting outside and wanted to talk to her and since people had collected, she let him in. RK then asks T to give them time with each other. M protests but T leaves. The gist of the squabble they have is that RK wants to know why is she lying to her family and where is she spending her nights and who is that man who is doing the escorting. M refuses to answer him point-blank as he has no righst to ask her and shows him the door. When she opens the door, everyone outside is eagerly watching their door, Padmini is walking in. Episode ends.

Dear All,

Seems some of us (including me) are a little afflicted with imaginary bashing to us and we are adding silly disclaimers. I agree, its looking really silly and especially when I look at mine, i feel it as unkind rather than being soft. I am not liking what I am turning into out of fear. I just want to be what I am. Likewise others may also feel the same.

So from today onwards, lets not add disclaimers in the fear that we get bashed. We just act normal and natural and ofcourse we have all grown a little maturer with last week's events, so that experience will teach us to be discrete, but that does not mean we keep rubbing on other people.

I sincerely apologize for my silly disclaimers yesterday; and I thank Angeena and Kodai for showing me the mirror how it is looking. So yes as a universal disclaimer on behalf of all, we will keep the thread healthy as always and remind ourselves when we are getting OTT in our reactions.

I have to agree with Shri , it was an A+ episode for me 🥳 Sikky finally waking up from his beauty sleep and confronting Dips he was firm with her today and with RK...I wish Radha heard their convo...she needs a wake up call too ! the best thing i liked about that scene was ke Dips was not THAT besharam to admit her so called rishta 🤢/infatuation to RK instead tried to cover up...I'm a bit confused with RK's reaction, he was prolly not covering up Dips but enjoying their spat & happy to see her in trouble..that's why dips was super pissed off with him too 😆 it was another way to say "DO NOT ask me questions, ask your wife,it's your problem not mine" 😎 anyhow, after a long time, he could enjoy his dinner..also, he asked for Radha first 👏 he's becoming more and more dependent on Radha ..

Aryan-Madhu-Sultan were boring ad infinitum 🥱 they really do put me off to sleep 🥱🥱🥱 specially Aryan Madhu scenes...and her la la la music in the BG 😆 can anyone explain what was the significance of "lighter off lighter on" scene? 😕 it came for full 1 minute ! 😆 he himself let Madhu enter Aryan's life isn't it? she didn't invite herself to his place..Sultan Madhu scenes does need a mention..pehle his parenting, now his profession 🥱 can she wait for a moment and think before judging people? yes we all do it quick, but not say it on their faces ! whatever

RK coming to his set & looking for Madhu..Shradha gives him a stare & she's visibly upset with his bullying 😆 new hairdresser ki dhulai for old hair dresser..superstar has no other job than getting involved with the affairs of his heroine's hairdresser? 😕😃 shooting ka schedule cancel bec. of Madhu, shooting pack up bec. of Madhu, RK gusse mein bec. of Madhu, causing losses to the PH everyday, when will they chuck out Madhu? now RK won't let it happen 🤣

Madhu returning to the chawl and noticing people staring at her 😆 Trishna let RK in (Shri, we misjudged RK 😭 he's not all that besharam and badtameez😃) , RK praised her 👏 now he meant it right? and Trishna really has matured a lot..👏 the reason Trishna gave was also a good one 😃 people gathered for another tamasha from RK so she let him in...RK sent Trishna out in RK style..personal screening 😃

RK Madhu scene was the highlight of course...again a good well balanced argument from both the ends 👏 Madhu was consistent in her replies and RK, in his concern...i guess this is the first time after Feb. that they talked about the unwedding , revenge and 4 slaps 👏 and made it clear to us where both of them stood in the current scenario 👏

Firstly, RK asking her about that man, why is she lying to her mom and on the set? Madhu inturn asked him why does he bother to know? pehle main nahi pehle main 😆 she refuses to answer him, he told her that he has the right usko khushi dene ka, dukh dene ka, nafrat karne ka, etc. etc. etc. he missed out two things, tumko pyar karne ka aur tumhari parwah karne ka..😛 or he said tumko pyar karne ka?? 😕 Madhu was also right, he HAD the right but he destroyed it with his own hands 👏 He asks him whether you're making me jealous ! 😆 it's not his fault actually, Madhu told him that she will give barabar ki takkar to him so he must have thought ke since he was trying to make her jealous through Dipali, she might do the same..but Madhu's reply was satisfactory ..that she doesn't have time & energy to think about superstar RK , nor does she have this big ego to take revenge from him 👏👏👏

precap was bombastic 😲 Madhu ko chaanta laga 😃 thanks to RK's revelation..

my 2 cents, RK is not even close to jealous..this is pure frustration which is coming out in the form of anger...frustration for not getting a proper reaction from Madhu, for her not understanding his concern, frustration with himself that he could not say what he wants to say to her, he could not do what he should be doing i.e. to protect her...Madhu is making it worse for him ..Madhu, you can love him, hate him but not ignore him...😎.if he thinks with a cool head, he IS capable of finding out who's behind all this mess, plz go ahead if he's so much concerned..today, it was more of a husband wife spat...they were behaving like real life couples ...tomorrow RIP Madhu's Blackberry 😆

Madhu and Sultan conversation was just for continuity .. But they highlighted the sudden change in his character, it was intentional. He brings Madhu for his son and, yet, chides his son for not being brave enough. Aryan and Madhu - cute. But just that cute. A fairy entering their lives .. meant for Madhu no doubt.

Sultan seems to be feeling something hearing Madhu and Aryan's laughter. Maybe torment, maybe doubting his parenting skills or maybe just plain thoughtful. Can't tell what he's thinking here. I guess this time Madhu's lecture actually resonated. So much so that he let her leave from his home without a blind fold. He is growing to trust her somewhat. Her refusing anything in exchange for taking care of Aryan, must have had a hand.

Sikky v/s Dipali and RK 🥳 Loved it so much. Finally! Go Sikky! ⭐️

Why did RK support Dipali? 😡 Why did he help her cover up? 😕 Does he still have some use for her on the set? I hope not. But then maybe he was just not in the mood to answer questions. He seemed too distracted. Sikky however will not let this rest. And Radhaji .. wonder what she thinks about this. I don't think she caught any of their conversation. She reached the table only to see everyone walk away.

Shraddha giving RK the cold treatment .. 👏 And RK, he knew why she was doing it and he didn't care.. Why no apology this time? He did apologize to that chocolate-waali heroine. So why not here. He can't admit he was wrong I guess. But, most likely, there is no Madhu to see or hear his apology. Or is it the fact that as a senior actor, he is not going to apologize to a newbie?

Trishna is getting smarter by the minute. She doesn't want a scene so she takes RK in and steps out. But when Madhu came in, how could she not see RK in there?

This argument seems to be repetitive. Every time RK comes and says he has rights and every time Madhu says you don't. Every time RK comes and asks some questions and every time Madhu says you don't have the right to an answer. But this time, while Madhu refutes that RK has right to make her upset, cry, etc .. she does not refute his claim to give her happiness, and make her laugh.. That RK even mentioned them is 😲 Big improvement. But Madhu's expression when RK tells her he is doing this to make her jealous .. Utterly incredulous. The thought never entered her mind. And RK, I think he was cursing himself for a wrong choice of words.

Madhu telling RK to leave .. more copying. All the chawl people are watching. A role reversal.

The precap .. wonder what Madhu said to get Padmini so riled up. The truth? Hopefully.

To all those disappointed souls yesterday.

It was an interesting episode today. Very gripping drama with all its nuances and character flaws included. Must watch episode. Don't miss it. And honestly no review will be as good as you feel it when you watch it. Trust me.

Personally I liked the best scene; as between Sikky and RK. Looked liked RK's days are going to be short-lived before Sikky. RK in his disturbed state ignored Sikky, and this is going to cost him big time.

I think I am starting to see what the dynamics of the Sultanbala relationship will be like. I am not saying they will be lovers and neither do I want them to be. But it is clear for what they have shown is the Madhu is going to teach in him how to soften up and perhaps start to live life again while Sultan is indirectly helping Madhu toughen up. He is going to show that there is a dark dangerous world out there and you have to learn how to deal with it. Their conversation today Sultan started by asking Madhu what she wants in return. He does not realize that Madhu is a person who just gives out of her heart. That is how she fell in love with RK she saw a soul in need of healing and gave him everything from her heart and didn't expect anything in return. LOL and thus far she hasn't gotten much either. It might change in the future.

See I want ppl on this forum to be able to see that there are many type of soul mates. One is called the twin flame soul mate which is what we take as are life partner birth after birth. There is no other purpose or logic behind why they should be together besides the twin flames or kindred spirits were created that way. There is another called the companion soul mate that could be anyone from a older sibling, a stranger that comes to help you when your car breaks down, to a teacher that you find very inspiring or look up to. Does mean you share a romantic relationship with them? No it doesn't. A companion soul mate can just offer advice to direct you in a positive path, or they may physically help you to achieve a goal. You have the mutual gift of learning, sharing and helping. In a previous life, you helped them and they are returning the favor. Maybe Sultan well stop being a gangster and become a better human being due to Madhu's influence and Madhu will stop being as idealistic and niave.

Well the first part had some meaning to me because it is a new and interesting dynamic to the show. I didn't bother much trying to interpret the second part. I just took as poetic justice. I totally enjoyed it. This was one episode that wasn't a pain for me to watch. It was actually so much fun. 🤣So what I think writers mean by redemption is really poetic justice. In RK's eyes Madhu perhaps has moved on while he is still miserable without her. He can't accept the fact that he is miserable because his ego comes in the way. I said in the beginning that an ego can be a man's worst enemy and thus far it has proven to be true. Still no where do I see RK redeeming himself especially while he makes claims like "Only I have the right to make you cry, give you pain. Even after everything I did to you." I was like what the hell is wrong with this man? I just can't seem to understand his psych.

loved the scene between madhu and aryan. they were cute.
and even sultan and madhu were gud.
so madhu manages to win sultans trust wthin two meeting.
personal screening wow now rk comes to know that matter between them are personal and cant discuses infront of trishna but he can humiliate her infront of whole world. and he still thinks he has every right on her. kis dunya mein rehtay ho rk babu. was he thinking madhu would behave like rk that after separation madhu will act like dips. was that the rk master plan of revenge😆.
but alas madhu declare clearly that rk has no haq on her and even she is not like him. and oh i so loved her expressions when she said ha u are jealous, rk is jealous 🤣. then she showed him the door.
