3/2/13 Blast or Murder?
Show starts at the ETF office where Neha informs Shree that Agency IB email has arrived. Shree informs Rathore, they all turn to the screen to look at the email. Rathore informs the team that they have received information on terrorist activity in the city and all agencies have been put on high alert, including ETF.
As he is briefing the team the phone in the conference room beeps. Rathore tell the person on the phone they are waiting at the headquarters, Arjun is very thoughtful. Shree asks Chotu if someone is special is coming; Chotu informs him that a new specialist is coming to the office. Shree is shocked and bit worried also.
Next scene moving traffic of the city the focus is on a girl with a nose ring, she has dark polish on her nails, she is smiling; only part of her face is shown.
Back at the ETF Chotu is telling Shree the new comer is a forensic expert. Shree thinks it's a man but Chotu corrects him and says it's a woman which surprises Shree even more. Chotu tells Shree her name is Liza D'Cruz.
We see the girl arrive at the office and she is getting out of her car, she is chewing gum and spinning her car keys on her finger. Chotu and Shree enter the conference room and Shree say he also knows a Liza D'Cruz.
Liza bumps into a another girl as she walks towards the conference room, she says sorry then enters the room and says Hi to everyone, Shree is shocked as Rathore introduces her to the team. (I can't say what Arjun is feeling about this.)
Rathore introduces each team member individually and when it comes to Shree, Liza immediately recognizes him and calls him specky. She makes Shree bit uncomfortable and the they have little nok jok but Shree tries to divert her.
Liza says she is looking forward to working with the team, Arjun says she won't have to wait long. Ayesha say we don't get much peace around here, we always have one case after another, Liza say that is even better, Arjun seem to be irritated by her perkiness and ignores her to go back to reading something. Shree is also very unhappy, Chotu and Ayesha are amused.
Next scene a bus on the road with bunch of men, it seems they are sleeping, driver stops the bus on the side of the road and get out, and meanwhile the bus explodes. Police on the scene gathering evidence. ETF arrives on the scene.
Shree introduces the driver Prkash as he briefs Rathore on the case. Arjun on the burnt bus looking around. Liza asks to go inside the bus to check for evidence. Chotu says according to the intelligence agency the pesticide company the bus belonged to was a soft target of Alfa group, may be they are responsible for the explosion. Ayesha says that group usually attack on a larger scale and pesticide company was a soft target for them because if the plant is exploded then the chemicals released into the air would cause lot more damage to the surrounding areas.
Rathore says to check anyway just in case if it is their work. An officer informs Rathore that the explosion was due the leaking of gas tank (I think that is what he said). Arjun is thoughtful and Rathore says then it is not a terrorist act but Arjun say not for sure.
Arjun questions the bus driver; he then says it is not possible for the bus to burn to this extent if the C&G tank was only half full. They wonder what could have caused an explosion this big.
Liza is on the bus gathering evidence. Drivers says he did not know how it happened, Rathore does not believe him. He says he was informed to take the workers to some plants and they were to work at nigh so that is why they were sleeping.
Rathore says they needed to go to the pesticide plant to investigate. Liza says she will have to go to the office to test the pieces she found on the bus, Rathore tells her to be quick.
Next scene pesticide plant
A worker (union leader) name Devabhai is talking to other employees of the plant. He is talking about their rights and threatening strike for rights of the dead workers.
ETF arrives on the scene, Devabhai make a sarcastic comment as ETF pass by, and Arjun takes note of the leader.
ETF is with the CEO of the company. He informs the team that they have already made arrangement to pay the families of the dead employees but the union leader is demanding that the amount should be doubled.
Rathore tells him the cause of explosion and ask the CEO if someone is trying to harm his or the company's reputation.
CEO says that the union leader Devabhai had forced himself in his office the previous week and demanded that he double the salaries of the plant workers but says his real motive is the commission he gets from the worker's salaries.
Arjun asked about the person who was supposed to supervise the workers who died. CEO tells about Anil, workers manager, FB of the manager is shown.
Chotu questioned why the workers who had worked nightshift being sent to training in the morning but CEO said even he was surprised but the manager had good relations with the workers so he made the arrangement for their travel.
Ayesha asks for the list of people on the bus, assistant brings the list and hands it to the CEO. Arjun asks to speak to Anil but the assistant say even he is looking for Anil and says no one has seen him since the workers left the factory.
ETF outside the factory
They have two suspects, Anil and Devabhai. Rathore says he and Ayesha will look for Anil and for Arjun and Chotu to tackle Devabhai. Shree is assigned to find out from Liza if she found any evidence from the things she found on the bus.
Seeing Shree's expression Rathore asks what happen and even Chottu ask what is wrong but Shree says nothing he will check.
Arjun and Chotu in the guard's cubicle, where Arjun checks some sort of log book, Chotu asks what happened sir but Arjun says nothing.
Arjun and Chotu arrives where Deva is lecturing the employees, Arjun tells Deva he needed to go with them, but Deva laughs it off and challenges ACP Arjun.
Chotu tries to reason and Arjun says there will be no fight, and says to Deva he is doing he is work and he needed to go with them, Arjun pulls out a gun and puts it in Deva's mouth and says he may have a fodge but he never misses his target. Chotu says sir stop but Arjun says inspector Chandrakant Patil only I can stop myself, Samjhae Ya Samjhaun.
He informs the workers who are ready to fight them that Deva is suspect in the murders of the 30 of their own co-workers so he is no longer your leader. And if you try to stop me then they will be arrested and says if they interfere I don't know if your leader will stay alive or not.
Another worker says stop, if you want to take Devabhai then it will be over my dead body, the pours a chemical all over his body. Arjun walks towards him then kicks his hand, the lighter that the worker is holding falls in his hand. Arjun slaps the guy and then have Chotu arrest him.
Rathore and Ayesha are at Anils house where they talk to the neighbor. Anil had not reached home.
Back at ETF office, Liza is in the lab; Shree sneaks up on her and scares her.
Shree asks if she found anything they have another nok jok again.
Chotu and Shree convo where Chotu also teases Shree but Shree gets mad and frustrated. He asks Chotu to leave him alone, but Chotu couldn't resist further teasing Shree.
Deva is being questioned by Rathore and Rawte. Deva shifts the blame to the CEO and say his strike started before the blast. He informs the CEO called them to talk about their demands but the CEO insulted him. He further tells about the working conditions of the workers and their complaints.
Arjun and Rathore talk to two other employees about the company. They inform them about the machines of the company and how the machines were faulty. They told that they also complained but nothing was done and even Anil tried but he couldn't do anything about.
Workers leave, Arjun and Rathore have a kahi kuch chut raha hai moment.
Back in the ETF conference room; Liza briefs the team on her findings.
Arjun double checks the details with Liza. He then says that the gas was at the factory not on the bus. They question the death of the workers, but Arjun says the workers were already dead before the blast. They will now investigate the company and the murders of its employees.
ETF at the factory in CEOs office
They question the CEO, FB of Arjun checking the log book and question the discrepancy in the book but CEO says he did not know anything.
The CEO makes one excuse after another but the team proved each of excuse a lie. CEO is shocked to learn that the workers were killed by the gas in the company and not from the blast.
Team suspects the CEO who says that chemical spill takes two days to clean and if the workers were killed by this then how can the workers that came that morning were saved, Arjun says because the other workers never went in the factory. Arjun says Deva and CEO fought and the CEO was sure they would strike so that is why he fought with Deva.
Everything was planned by the CEO. The workers were killed because of the gas leak and not from the blast; the blast was planned because the workers died from the gas.
FB of what may have taken place in the factory is shown.
CEO admits to the incident and tells them how Anil was killed. His assistant Guvrav had assisted the CEO.
Arjun blasts the CEO, Rathore also tells off the CEO. Guvrav the assistant also arrives there, they are arrested. Show ends on team walk.
Precap: Rathore with the commissioner, a girl shoots herself and ETF arrives at the girls home with guns drawn. Liza briefing the team on her findings; Ayesha questioning a professor who is suspected to kill the girl.
