OS- Jogger's Park Ne Bana Di Jodi

This One Shot is based on the idea of Mina [-Mrinalini-]. Pheew...Your list is finally over... Hug

It's Sunday Morning.

*TRING*

A hand shoots out of the duvet and punches on the alarm clock.

Khushi Gupta pulls the duvet and gets up just as the sun rays enter Her room.

"Good Morning to Me..." Khushi whispers while stretching her laziness away.

This was Her routine for the last three years.

Khushi would get up at 6:00 a.m, get ready, grab Her water bottle & I-pod and then start jogging from Her house to the Jogger's Park.

"Ooo... The weather looks sunny..." Khushi exclaimed to no one in particular while pulling her hair into a ponytail and locking the front door.

Khushi put on Her earphones and starts jogging away from her doorstep.

After 20 Minutes, She decides to halt at the Red Sea Cafe for a rejuvenating cup of coffee.

Standing at the end of the queue, Khushi's eyes wander and take in the surroundings of the Cafe.

Some are drinking Coffee, some are munching on a sandwich while some are surfing the internet.

While Khushi checks everyone's activities, She feels someone observing Her closely.

Khushi turned around sharply and looked at the Guy sitting alone on Table No 7.

"Hey Arnav...!" Khushi squealed while walking towards Arnav's table.

Arnav Singh Raizada.

Khushi's neighbor since 2 years.

The Guy whose House was always mistaken by the laundry man and milkman to be Khushi's.

"Good Morning Khushi..." Arnav greeted keeping his paper down and picking up his coffee cup.

"Good Morning...You are here so early in the morning?" Khushi said while sitting on the opposite chair.

"Nah! Its too cold today. So I thought of beginning the day with a cup of coffee and then proceeding towards Jogger's Park." Arnav said folding the newspaper and keeping it aside.

"Oh... I am also going to the Jogger's Park.." Khushi smiled while picking up Her coffee cup from the counter.

"Can I join You?" Arnav questioned while getting up from His seat.

"Yeah. Sure." Khushi shrugged her shoulders and walked out of the Cafe.

Khushi and Arnav jogged around the park once talking about the various things happening in their respective lives.

"Hahahah... You should have seen their faces..." Arnav laughed about something He had just shared.

"Hahahahha... Oh My God! Its been so long since I have laughed so much!" Khushi squealed clutching Her stomach and halting in Her track.

"You have a really cute smile." Arnav complimented.

"Thank-OUCH!" Khushi shrieked while clutching Her stomach.

"Khushi...KHUSHI! What happened???" Arnav said while clutching Khushi by Her shoulders.

"What is happening??" Khushi said in pain.

"Its Okay... I will just call for an ambulance. Please, Try to relax.." Arnav said in haste and flipped His phone.

Khushi closed Her eyes and tried to relax while Arnav stroked Her hair whispering comforting words.

Khushi dozed off in Arnav's arms and the next thing Khushi knew when She opened Her eyes was that She was in a hospital.

Khushi was shocked.

"Where is Arnav???" Khushi shrieked and felt stupid that She remembered Arnav as soon as She regained consciousness.

"I am Here, Khushi. You just had a major sugar drop. You should rest." Arnav whispered.

Khushi was comforted by Arnav and She dozed off again.

Arnav was transfixed to think what is that has made Him help Khushi?

Why was He still with Her?

Arnav could feel Khushi's pain as if it was His own.

Strange.

Arnav kissed Khushi's forehead and sat on the seat next to the bed taking Her hand in His softly.

"Arnav?"

Arnav looked up to see Khushi looking at Him with a smile spread across Her face.

"Hey...Khushi...Are You feeling better??" Arnav said tucking Khushi's stray hair behind Her ears.

"Much better...Thank You." Khushi replied, "Why are You still here?"

Arnav looked at Khushi's teasing face and felt that She should know the truth.

"Well.. The truth is that I don't know why but when You collapsed in pain even I could feel Your pain.I was very hurt to see You writhing in pain. I know I must be sounding like crazy right now but ever since I have been your neighbor I have waited to keep catching a glimpse of You entering the house or exiting. I am also glad that the milkman and laundry Guy mistake My house to be Yours so that it gives Me a chance to interact with You.Now, Please give me a chance to show how I feel about You." Arnav delivered His monologue in one breath looking at their interlocked fingers.

"That is the sweetest thing I have heard in my entire life." Khushi whispered.

Arnav's head snapped up while His heart pounded faster, "Really??"

"Absolutely!" Khushi said while Arnav pulled her in a bone crushing hug and stroked Her hair.

"Thank You for giving Me a chance." Arnav said kissing the tip of her nose."You are the cutest thing ever!"

"Hahaha... I did not know that You were such a cheesyball." Khushi teased.

"Whatever it is... But now I am Your cheesyball." Arnav replied cheekily.

"I Love You Arnav..." Khushi cooed while snuggling into Him.

"I Love You More." Arnav said wrapping his arms around Her.

Arnav and Khushi could not disagree that they had one of the Best mornings as well as the luckiest jog in the Jogger's Park.
