This is my first attempt at a story.Its a back story for my fantasy of watching the upright Arjun fending off unwanted female attention.Its his priceless expressions while doing so that I crave for.😆 Hope you like it...😊

The shrill ringtone of Arjun's mobile phone interrupts the dead silence of the office.Everybody has called it a night but as always Arjun is fighting his sleep demons by staying awake & finishing up paperwork of a recently concluded case.The sense of deep satisfaction that he felt at the rightful conclusion of any case always also brought a slight tremor of trepidation of the possible empty days & worse empty nights till the next case came along.This was one such night.In a bizzare way Arjun Raute neede some crime to happen somewhere so that he could fall headlong into it to escape those relentless demons.
The number displayed was that of his informant Jabbar currently at his post at the Macchimar Colony in Colaba.Arjun takes the call with a gruff,"Bol, Jabbar". "ACP Saab, ek khabar dene ka hain" says a breathless young voice at the other end. Arjun waits for him to continue," Woh Pakiya Langda hain na, he is coming to the basti tonight." Arjun's blood freezes at the mention of this name & he sits bolt upright in his chair.Pakiya Langda was the younger brother of Roshan the right hand man of Sikander.He had already slipped once from Arjun's hands.Arjun still hadn't forgiven himself for that goof up."He has taken up with a new "item" of the area.He is coming to see her at around 1 tonight" .Arjun cuts the call, grabs his gun & stuffs in his waist band.He hesitates for split second thinking about calling Rathore but deciding against it strides off out of the office.
The cool sea air blows across Arjun's grim face as he zooms into the empty Mumbai night streets.Adrenalin has kicked in & is coursing through his veins along with blood & rage. The images of Roshni's last moments gasping for breath & reaching out for him, ones that have never left his conscious mind even for a second since that fateful night, wash over him with renewed force.
Arjun comes to an abrupt stop near a cluster of fishing boats.He switches off the powerful headlights of the ETF vehicle & scans his surrounding.Its deathly quiet here except for the sound of lashing of sea waves.But sounds of laughter & revelry could be heard from some distance.He looks in the direction & finds a hut blazing with fairy lights.A group of drunken men were hooting lustily.There was an air of anticipation around.Arjun scanned the men carefully & every policeman instinct in him told him they were harmless fishermen in for a dose of booze & fun after a bone breaking day at sea.There was no sign of Pakiya or his coterie.

Arjun strains his eyes to get a glimpse of the dancer & just then the lights come back in full force & the girl swings around & breaks into a fast sensuous number.

Arjun is struck by the sheer beauty of the dancer & stands rooted to his spot.
The girl must have been in her mid-twenties.Her tall, slim & lithe body twists & twirls to the beats of the koli music.She had an ethereal aura about her & did not come across as an ordinary bar girl.Wide set dark eyes, porcelain white skin & sensuous mouth she seemed to have been transported straight from one of the Temple Dance paintings for which Roshni had garnered so much accolades for.

Her heavings & gyrations had a certain class to it and unaware of doing it Arjun begins to register her physical beauty.Her pallu slips a bit revealing a deep cut blouse & Arjun averts his eyes, to his utter horror unwillingly so.
At this point the girl spots the tall, aloof stranger gazing intensely at her & begins to swirls towards him.There is an instant animal attraction.She too starts to stare back at him while continuing with her movements.Something about him profoundly moves her.She rightaway identifies him as someone from a different world.Definitely not the kind that pulls & gropes her each night.Her heartbeat increases as she reaches the strange man & tries to pull him into the revellers group.The man takes a swift step back & that excites the girl more.Here was a challenge & not one to cower she take on it head on.
She begins to feel up Arjun's strong shoulders & chest all the while leaning her soft body into his hard muscled one.

To his utter disconcertation Arjun's heartbeat too increases & there is bead of perspiration on his forehead.He slightly pushes the girl off him & takes several steps back.The girl instinctively pulls his hand & places it on her slim waist.She then places her own hands around his neck & leans again into him.Angry more at himself than her Arjun this time pushes her off a bit more roughly than before.He glares angrily at her in disgust.The girl seems surprised at this & looks at him as if sizing him up.
Arjun then notices Jabbar hiding in the shadows behind him trying to get his attention. Arjun looks at him carefully to see him mouthing,"Pakiya ki item".Arjun swings back to watch the girl who had by then swirled back towards the group. Arjun strides up to her & grabs her hand.The girl looks at him & there is desire & need in her eyes.She shouldn't be doing this.She belonged solely to her master.She could just dance for the general crowd but no one was allowed to touch her.But there was this wanton need to touch this stranger.His magnetism was sending sparks down the core of her being.She didn't know how or why but she was sure here was the man who could fill the void need festering inside her for eons.Men craved her night after night but to her shock she found herself craving for him.She continues her gyrations & pulls him towards another smaller hut, this one closed with only a door.
She drags him inside & closes & latches it .She pulls off her pallu completely & firmly stuffs it around her waist.She pushes Arjun on the bed & continues,

kehati hai ye aankhe sharabi karle apani rat gulabi
betabi hai tan me hai mithi chubhan

Arjun is shocked to find his body responding to the wanton touches & feels of the beautiful, voluptuous girl.It had been so long since Roshni.He hadn't even looked towards any girl after that.And now of all the women in the world he was falling for a bar dancer.
The girl looks deep into Arjun's eyes & falls deeper into the throes of desire.Arjun too loses himself in the depths of those mysterious dark eyes holding a thousand secrets. She pushes him further onto the bed bends her head to reach his beautiful petal like lips.
Gathering every iota of resolve & will power, calling on all the virtues he was born with or instilled in Arjun Raute pushes the girl firmly back & stands up to his full height.Humiliated & enraged the girl tears the front part of his shirt apart with both hands.Her eyes flashes angrily as buttons go flying about. She then embraces him in a frenzy but he disentagles himself roughly . She holds the collar of his shirt & pulls him towards her one more time & having no other recourse to salvage the situation ACP Arjun for the first time in his life slaps a woman hard across her face.Stunned both of them stare at each other.He pulls her pallu from her waist & drapes it across her voluptuous chest & then pulls across her shoulders.
Regaining some composure Arjun asks,"What is your name?" The girl simply glares back.He thunders again asking for her name."Nayantara" answers the girl while still defiantly staring at him. Then in his own inimtable Raute style he begins his lecture," Aurat Devi, Maa, Behen, Beti, Dost aur Humsafar ke roop mein pooji jaati hain,Nayantara.Use roz roz baazzar mein yu bechkar uska apmaan na karo.Waqt rehte sambhal jao"
Pulling his tattered shirt across his chest & full of guilt & shame he walks across the room towards the door.
"Kathipaara.Tomo at 2 in the afternoon" says Nayantaara. Arjun stops in his track & turns to look at her."He cancelled at the last moment & said to come there tomo.You'll find your Pakiya there,ACP Raute." Shocked Arjun stares at the girl & then nods his thanks & turns & walks away into the night.
Sakshi Devaskar watches the receding back of the husband of her mentor, friend & guide Roshni.She was forever indebted to that lovely & courageous young woman when she had fought tooth & nail with her uncle & his vile sons who had wanted to sell her into the Mumbai flesh market.Roshni had taken the young terrified girl to a women's shelter & thus had begun a brand new phase in Sakshi's dark & gloomy life.She had found an ambition and a best friend.When Roshni fell in love with Arjun & decided to marry him Sakshi was the first to know.But for one reason or the other Arjun & Sakshi had never met.But pages after pages of letters that Roshni had written to Sakshi was solely dedicated to Arjun.So much so that Sakshi was already half in love with him.She went on to become a lawyer & was a succesful prosecutor in Jaipur until Roshni was brutally killed one day.She lost the only semblance of family she had.In effect she has lost everything.
Bereft with grief Sakshi tried to go on with life just as Roshni had always advised her to but vengeful thoughts kept her distracted all the time till she could take it no more.She moved back to Mumbai to hunt down her killer.The first thing she did was to check on the soulmate of her friend.In a way she blamed him too for her loss for Sikander was his enemy & Roshni got caught in the cross fire.Then she saw the terrible state he was in & over time noted his thirst of vengeance was as fiery as hers.She followed his career & his every move & had found an ally for her mission in him.She had also deeply & hopelessly fallen in love with him.
She had always expected to run into him since both were moving circles that would mingle at some point as their aim was the same.But tonight was a shocker.His sight completely flustered her & all bottled up emotions came flowing out.
Her chance had come in the form of Pakiya & through him she intended to reach Sikander.But to her it was only fair that Arjun should be the one to finally nail the man who so utterly & completely ruined both their lives.She would stick to Pakiya & relay all leads to ACP Arjun.She would be his saarthi in his mission to destroy Sikander.And maybe one day she would melt him enough to mean something to him.Till then...
