'Jawaab doongi woh bhi utni hi badtameezi se...'

Loved how Gunjan proved herself up to the task, getting back at Vihaan measure for measure... For once, some intelligence in the protagonist staying 'ahead' of the bad guy...

But the bigger reason why i liked yesterday's episode was because of the BREAKING OF STEREOTYPES... the busting of myths deeply harboured in the Indian psyche

  1. That boys cannot get away with murder while girls will pay with being ruined, regardless of whether they're innocent or not...
  2. That the pricking of the male ego cannot justify whatever end the boy might choose to bring upon the girls, even though it might have been inadvertent
  3. That both sides of parents and society (excludng SD of course  ) need to realize that poor daughters cannot always be blamed; that however much you protect, restrict, stifle them, you cannot account for what might happen if guys are given so much leeway... that you need to stop thinking where the girl might've been wrong & suppress her AND start thinking it is time the guys starting respecting women
  4. That boys can't hide their selfishness & meanness in rejecting so-called behanjis... that it was clear that not only did he want to reject Rachna, but he also wanted the icing by blaming this on the sisters... leaving no room for doubt abt his intentions
  5. That girls' dreams & adolescence cannot be deemed 'trangressions' which they must pay for, because Society's standards for girls & guys are VASTLY different... and what is actually harmless if we pull back, cannot be used against them just coz Society defines a narrower sphere for them - Jeans, Crushes, Following Dreams
  6. That a non-traditional girl need not be mean, vain and a poor influence for society
  7. That the family realized however good the boy's family is, one must NEVER take decisions without meeting the boy, assessing his personality and seeing the compatibility with their daughter
  8. That the conservative FATHER and patriarch realized all of this!

What do you guys think? You think any other points were key here?
Do let me know your POV on this...

and i want to add one more point which dayal said that
" apna khoon apna hota hai, aur paraya khoon paraya"...there is breakage of that sterotype also..gunjan has proved it, that she loves garg fam and specially rachna..it doesnt matter if u r from same blood or not but it's the matter of TLC( tender, love and care)

True... that too... most people had an issue from the start itself about Gunjan coming and staying with them...

And the fact that Dayal accepted that was a BIG thing

Happen to really love the last episodeClap
Shail giving an earful to all men watching or listening about their wrong doing and consequences faced by womenClap .am happy that she did say so and showed how weak men are when it comes to accepting responsibilities for their actionsConfused
Hope the so called men really listen and see the facts beyond their male egoAngry

Gunjan,s character was way too good -Clap hope more girls had the courage and luck to expose characters like vihaan we would have less of his kind around who think women are commodities and are meant to be used physically and emotionallyAngryAngry
She also proved that non traditional girls need not be the typical stubborn spoilt brats as portrayed alwaysClap
Dayal ( am not sure of him though)Confused but atleast accepted that his mind set  and judgement need not always be rightLOL. There is always much beyond what meets the eyeWink
" so never judge the book by its cover"

It was sad that Rachna had to face the fact of being called a plain Jane. But this would atleast dawn realization that everything that glitters is not gold. And she really needs to be very cautious and not naive even to extent of being foolish that people take advantage ofAngry

They say women are instigators against women and Savitri Devi proved it by supporting vihaan,s wrong doingAngry
I love and watch this series  only, coz it is way off the beaten path and addresses so many social issues and the characters who all have their flaws and shortcomings Wink Which makes it look so close to life rather than perfect scripted characters who can never do anything wrong
