I am so happy this story has been chosen and I am aware you have written a lot before this, sure hope you continue to write. It goes without saying; I will always know you as the author of KH though I started out reading Lavender penned by you. I connect with this story and it has nothing to do with the fact that I am south Indian and don't speak a word of Malayalam. It is so brilliantly written and each chapter a treat to read, not to forget the hours you have spent researching to keep the authenticity of the rituals and traditions that find mention in your story. I feel richer having read this and have done so many times.
The story is not just about Arnav or Kashi, it goes beyond them and is not your regular love story, I do like love stories; what is life without love. I will never be able to forget Shivan (I don't suffer from Ophidiophobia, just don't like them much) for that matter Nalan or Pallavi my favourite character in this story.
The story is that engrossing and you make the reading worthwhile, more power to your writing. I selfishly request you to keep doing something you obviously excel at, as I get to read a tale which takes me on a ride I have never been on before.
Truly well-deserved acknowledgement and hope more come your way.
