UPDATE FOR 3RD NOVEMBER
Shobha is shocked upon hearing that vishal was murdered and the incident was not an accident. She wants to know as to who was behind this, savita tells her that payal has gone to S'land to find out. Shobha is upset that everyone lied to her and did not tell her about this. She goes to her room and is crying thinking about vishal (her marriage scenes and then vishal's funeral). She then decides that she will find the killer and punish him.
In s'land, tushar and payal are together. Tushar tells payal that he thought karan was a nice person and he did not realize that karan was looking for vishal to kill him. Payal is surprised and asks him as to why karan was searching for vishal and how does he know about it. Tushar tells her about the time when he found vishal's watch in his car and karan recognized that. He also tells her about he and karan going around looking for vishal. (Old scenes shown) Payal tells him that this is good evidence, which they can probably use to get karan behind bars and asks tushar if he will say all this in court. Tushar agrees to help her in this.
Shobha calls payal and tells her that now she knows the truth, she knows about vishal's murder. She complains about payal not telling her the truth. Payal tells her not to worry anymore as she has found the murderer. Shobha is shocked and wants to know about the killer. Payal asks shobha if she will help her in punishing the culprit, shobha assures her that she will. Payal says whether she will support her even if it is someone close to her. Shobha replies that she will support her no matter who it is. When shobha is talking about all this, karan comes into the room and asks shobha if to ask payal if she has been able to find something. Payal overhears karan's voice and asks shobha whether there is somebody there with her. Shobha tells her that its karan. She again asks payal about the murderer's identity but payal says that she is coming back to India and will let her know then. He is someone close to her and she will punish him.
In shantiniketan, the women of the family are preparing for dusshera. The kids (chirag's ) ask Ba about the significance of the occasion and ba gives them a lecture about dusshera or vijaydashami being an festival of victory of truth and good over evil. (some knowledge about ten headed ravan being killed) Savita says that she hopes that this dusshera will bring happiness and end of evil for their family as well. Tulsi is thoughtful and remarks that she hopes that bahaar ke raven ke saath saath ghar ke raven ka bhi naash ho jaaye. Savita is surprised.
Mihir meets gautam and tells him that what he is doing is not right. Because of his zid, the whole family is suffering and there is so much tension. Mihir tells him that he also faced the same situation years ago and says that today is good occasion and this is the time for him to rise above all this and return the child to his mother. Gautam does not seem convinced and is upset.
Payal is doing her packing and sees vishal's photograph. Tushar comes and takes her bag as they have to leave for India.
In shantiniketan, the celebration is on, everybody is doing arti. Tulsi and mihir, kiran, hemant (the wife is missing), sahil and ganga….. Suddenly tulsi turns to see gautam and damini coming down the stairs with both the children and luggage. Everyone turns and are shocked. Savita asks gautam as where is he going along with the kids. He replies that he cannot live here anymore, everyone keeps on talking to him about giving away of the child. He says that he has only two choices left now, either he can live with his children or with the family. And he has decided to go away with the children. Mihir tells him that he is not going anywhere. Tulsi comes forward (old habit, die hard) and says that jaane do ise. She says that he has not got the real sanskaar of this house. Tulsi tells him that today he has proved that parvarish is more important than the birth; even today he is arti's son. She thought he had changed but he hasn't, he is still gomzi and not her gautam. Gautam is shocked. Tulsi continues- remember mihir, arti had run away with my child and now gautam is doing the same. The only difference is that arti ran away in the darkness of the night and gautam is leaving in the daylight hurting all of us and breaking the trust.
Kiran is standing there and listening to all this, feels sad and guilty. Tulsi says that when she gave her child to arti, she never wanted it back, she thought that they all live in the same house and everything is shared but arti left and shattered their lives and dreams. And gautam is doing the same, tulsi adds that from now on diwali will never be celebrated in this house. (seems like all the decision in the house are taken by the great tulsi).
Gautam and damini, both are in tears. Gautam says that tulsi gave her child to arti and it changed his entire life, he knows what happened to his life. He says that main apki tarah mahaan nahin ban sakta. Tulsi replies mahaan nahin, insaan to ban sakta hain.Gautam is upset but he tells damini -chalo.
Kiran who has been watching all this comes to gautam and tells him to not repeat the same mistake, which he had made years ago. He says that he too had left the house with arti like him and now though, is ghar mein shaamil to ho gaya, magar kabhi jud nahin paya, main aaj bhi khud ko akela pata hoon. Agar maine us din arti ki baat nahin mani hoti to shayad ye parivaar, arti sub kuch mere paas hota. He says that people who leave their family, vo hardam akele rah jate hain.
Suddenly the child in gautam's hand starts crying. (it is ganga's child) Ganga is bechain and comes and takes the child from gautam. The child stops crying in ganga's hand. Damini looks at this, smiles and points out to gautam that the child has stopped crying; when the child has accepted ganga as his mother, why doesn't he. Gautam is moved and starts crying, he looks at saahil who has been standing quietly till then, controlling his emotions. Gautam goes to saahil and hugs him and asks him to forgive. (This seemed genuine and looks like the ice between them is finally broken for good) Everybody is happy.
Tushar calls shivangi. (Shivangi is for the first time in salwaar-kameeez). She asks him as to why did he call, he tells her that they are coming back to India. He says that tell tulsi mami and…. that payal is coming and tell your heart that I am coming. Shivangi is blushing.
(Some nonsense scenes on sanwari, banwari and bobby darling doing some dance and singing practice for channel v competition and ba reacting to it.)
Shobha and abhishek are together and she tells him that payal has found out about the killer and if it someone who is close to her. Abhishek is sad, guilty and uncomfortable. She says that there are very few people close to her and if the person is really close to her, then how can he do something like this to her and vishal. She says that she will find out who the killer is and she hates that person. Abhishek is shocked.
